To support sustainable living, the house is powered by solar energy. Waste water is treated before its disposal. We use eco-friendly low wattage bulbs. All these actions allow us to minimize our impact in the ecosystem.

  • Larisa Y Carlos's casa is really, really special. On a long beach of quiet, eco-resorts, in a town of very spiritual and easy-going people, this place is the MOST quiet and the MOST easy-going. Carlos is masterful at being available and engaging when you need tips on local secrets or just nice conversation, and disappearing completely the rest of the time. It truly feels like your own tropical getaway. The rooms are modest but very comfortable, and the open-air kitchen really made our trip. All of the food in Tulum is high quality and delicious but I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to shop at the market and cook your own meals as a supplement to dining out. If you like a more intimate and interesting travel experience, I would definitely suggest staying here. We weren't lucky enough to meet Larisa, but Carlos was such a wonderful addition to our trip. Ask him where to get the sweetest wheatgrass shots I've ever tasted, delicious hand-pulled cheese, and fresh caught fish that you can cook up in his kitchen! We will definitely be back.

  • Casa Tangamanga is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in 'sol' which is set a little way back from the sea, with a balcony shaded by lots of palm trees. The room was nice and clean (and cleaned again almost daily). The shower comes from well water so is a bit salty, but does the trick.

The house is right on the beach, with loungers, umbrellas, body boards, snorkels etc all for guests to use. The beach itself is absolutely beautiful, white sand, clear blue water and no strong currents, so perfect for swimming.

The house is nearby lots of bars/restaurants etc, or you can get a cab into tulum town where prices are a little cheaper. Or you can get food at the supermarket and cook in the huge kitchen at the house.

Carlos was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay: happy to give advice on restaurants and also helped organise a trip for us to go to a nearby (deserted) cenote, which one of his friend's discovered.

    Highly recommended :)

  • Staying with Larissa and Carlos was the best vacation we have ever had. It was like being welcomed into a relative's home. It looks rustic and feels like you're in the middle of nature, but it's extremely comfortable. We had plenty of hot water, the room was cleaned regularly and immaculately, and though there were sometimes mosquitos outside they didn't get through the screens. (If they had, there are new, hole-free mosquito nets on the bed.) Unlike other places in town that would happily charge you for whatever you need, Carlos generously just tries to make it happen. Want to go snorkling? Here, take my gear! He (email hidden)-conspirator. Larissa was not around as much but was a very warm presence. We didn't end up trying the beautiful food that's sometimes on offer, but it looked amazing and some of the ingredients came from their own organic garden. We are already planning our return trip. Thank you both so much!

We decided to come and live permanently in this beautiful paradise. We enjoy our day meditating, swimming in the beach and in cenotes, doing yoga, riding the bicicles, walking in the beach, cooking, doing massage, taking care of nature and contemplating it, cleaning and doing maintainance. Tulum is a powerful energetic place, we feel them all the time. We like to do Temazcali ceremonies. Larisa likes to cook, and, I like to eat everything she cooks, she cooks delicious. Some times, guests like to cook and we love to share and learn about diferent dishes. We are here to enjoy and share the best of us.
