Peter's place is gorgeous, no wonder there are so many great reviews for this spot!
Peter basically owns about 4 separate 'bungalow' type buildings so each party gets their own private house. My boyfriend and I stayed in the front house and it was equipped with a queen sized bed, TV with Netflix already programmed in, a full kitchen with everything you need + an added bonus of having beer, wine, coffee, and extra treats (like fresh flowers!) waiting for us, complimentary from Peter.
Peter was pretty quick to respond and also lives on the property so he was available for any questions we had. We also appreciated his pre-curated list of recommendations and even ran into some celebs at the restaurants he listed ;)
It really felt like staying in a resort in the heart of Silverlake - the hot tub area is a shared space but it was nice interacting with the other guests and having breakfast on the terrace. As a note, I recommend asking/telling Peter if you'd like to use the hot tub in advance so he can start turning up the temperature early! We didn't realize it would take hours to heat up the hot tub so we didn't get to really use it as much as we would have liked.
Overall, highly recommended! Would love to stay again in the future :)
Peter was a total sweetie, the space was great and the location was great. Couldn't ask for more!
It's hard to put into words just how beautiful Peter's space is. I am so grateful to have had the experience of staying there, and getting to know Peter and the other guests. I've been to LA many times before, and this has by far been my best experience. The bungalow was immaculate, comfortable, and so welcoming ( nothing better than being greeted by a cold bottle of wine and fresh flowers!) The outdoor patio areas were so peaceful, yet also afforded the opportunity to meet the other guests. I am already planning my next visit! This is truly a home away from home feeling. Peter is a super host in every way!
Peter was wonderful! Left us nice coffee, a hilarious and useful guide to the neighborhood. Really friendly and helpful. Room was cozy and had everything we needed. Location is really convenient. A+++ would stay again
Peter was an excellent host and the location was so perfect for what we wanted. Right in the heart of Silverlake and easy to get to Griffith Park. Peter went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of.
This was the perfect place for us. Adorable little house, immaculately clean, charming. When we arrived a bit past midnight we passed the hummingbirds in the patio trees. Peter was thoughtful, helpful, friendly and very responsive. Within a block of great shops, coffee, and restaurants. Great water pressure and heat for showers, helpful local guide and best of la publications. I was so surprised and happy he made sure we had the brand new laweekly. Would stay again in a minute!
Peter's property was (website hidden)'s neat, efficient, and simply beautiful.Would definitely recommend it.
