About this listing
Cozy studio in the heart of Chicago! Steps away from the Lake and Magnificent Mile.
Lake Michigan is only 5 minutes away by walking and summer is a great time for chilling on the beach! Close to subway!
In the studio there is a Queen size bed, nice sofa and a table. In case you like to cook everything you need for that is on the kitchen. Large grocery store is just 3 minutes away from the building.
Many restaurants and cafes are just around the corner! The apartment is located very close to the LOOP, so you can walk to most Chicago attractions. Otherwise, closest subway station is about 5 min away.
I will make sure that during your trip you will have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including fresh towels, shampoo and conditioner, linens, toothbrushes and more!
If you have any special requests, please do not hesitate to contact me!
For those who driving, about PARKING:
There is free street parking few blocks west of the building. Otherwise, there is pay-to-park around the building for 4$ per hour. Overnight it is free (12am - 8am). Also, there are few parking garages in the area for about $15-$20. (If you enter before 10am it's 12$ until 7pm)
Please be respectful to my place.
It was a very nice experience. The location is perfect, the studio is clean and comfortable. If I am back to Chicago I defenetely will look for this studio. Liana also was very helpful and kind we had good comunication.
Everything was great! The location was amazing as was the apartment! Had a little trouble with the key. Other than that was perfect!
I had a wonderful weekend in Chicago, thanks in part to Liana and her wonderful space. The listing was exactly as described, she provided a painless check-in process, and although she was not present for my check in, she made me and my friend feel very welcome by making sure the space was immaculately clean, providing some welcoming snacks on the table right in front of the door, and providing a really seamless experience. It's a small space, but everything about it is really well thought out and it was an amazing alternative to a high priced hotel.
The place was just as expected and made traveling to Chicago fun and easy! The host was easy to contact and the location was perfect. It was a short walk to many local places to get food and drinks. The studio was cozy, welcoming, private and quiet. If I travel back to Chicago, which I really hope I do, I will try to book with this host again, and recommend it to anyone who needs to travel to Chicago.
Liana was always prompt in responding to any questions that we had. We had actually chosen another airbnb but that host never responded. We were worried we would have trouble finding another one in time so we were relieved when Liana responded almost immediately. She even let us check in a little early (and check in was VERY easy).
The place is very cute with everything you'll need from A/C, a big bed, TV (w/netflix), fast wifi, all necessary kitchen supplies, ample bathroom supplies (my BF forgot shaving cream, only to buy some in Chicago and then realize Liana had some stocked). She even had wrapped toothbrushes for us!
The apt is walking distance to the red line and to the John Hancock building making it super convenient. There are some nice restaurants right by the place, our favourite being Velvet Taco.
I will re-iterate what others have said, the apt is very cozy/small.
Liana was a great host. She had everything ready for us when we arrived and included a listing of places to visit in town and brochures of local attractions. The apartment location was perfect. It was walking distance of the downtown area, there was a parking garage around the corner, multiple places to go out to eat, and it was only a few blocks away from the red line. If I am ever back in Chicago, I would like to have Liana be my host again.
Nice studio located in a good area. Two blocks to the subway that takes you anywhere downtown in minutes. The area can get noisy from the bars at street level but the studio is on a high floor so we did not hear much. The studio is small but very clean and well equipped with a kitchen. Liana is a good hostess and responded to all of our inquiries promptly. I would highly recommend this for a short stay in Chicago.
