Self check-in

Check yourself in with the smartlock.
Tall ceilings, an open staircase and walls of windows flood the space with light (even in Portland), while molded plywood Eames chairs add mid-century style. Located in the heart of Portland within walking distance to great restaurants, coffee and parks. Fast, gigabit fiber internet, full kitchen, large table, and private outdoor spaces help maximize your stay and comfort, whether you're alone or with a group. Editor's pick in Dwell.

The space
A bright and open gathering space on the ground floor will welcome you. The full kitchen is well stocked with all you might need including microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, etc. The smart tv will have you binge watching your favorite shows on Netflix in no time.

Much of the furniture includes timeless designer pieces that we've collected and love. Arne Jacobsen Ant dining chairs, Kartell dining table, Benson sofa with Pendleton upholstery, molded plywood Eames chairs, George Nelson light fixtures, and a Case Study queen bed. The space was designed to be open, bright and modern. Tall ceilings and walls of windows make it glow even on cloudy days.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, both with king size beds. Each bedroom has a wall of windows (one room with black-out shades), one of which has a deck area to sit and relax and watch the sunset. The bathroom is also flooded with light from a skylight that offers both privacy and natural lighting. The walk-in shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash so you don't need to pack your own.

Located centrally in Portland makes it easy to walk to great coffee, food, and parks - or is only a short drive to most neighborhoods and destinations around town. This is not a silent property, it's located in the city and has standard street noises because of that.

The house is equipped with its own washer/dryer along with soap in case you need to wash anything during your stay. There's also a ductless heating and air conditioner to keep you comfortable year round.

Guest access
The entire house is yours during your stay, including a small back patio with chairs and string lights.

My work: Design Consultant
Lives in Portland, Oregon
I have 2 incredible kids, a husband, mother and Himalayan cat, all of whom live in a 1906 craftsman home in Portland, Oregon. We're often exploring nature in our little airstream trailer, or finding new places to play in the city. I worked at Nike for over 10 years in design and innovation, launched a start-up to help people find joy in movement, and now run a creative agency designing experiences that connect with people.
