Welcome to our perfect home!
It's a 5 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath, with: Dining Room, Large Family Room with High Ceiling, Fireplace, Surround Sound TV/DVD System, Wall-Mount Flat Screen TV, Wireless Internet, Dish-washer, Finished Basement, Game Room (in finished garage), Jacuzzi, Washer/Dryer, Gated Back Yard. (2400 square feet.)
We converted our 3 bedroom home into 5 bedrooms (master bedroom, one room with a full/twin bunk-bed), a bedroom/office with full sized futon and desk, studio apartment in the basement with queen size bed and double size futon and kitchenette, game room with pull out double sized couch and pool/ping pong table. And outdoor 8-10 person jacuzzi. Plenty of other rooms and space for sleeping, if you want to sleep on the couch or air mattress. Enough beds to sleep 13+ people.
We love to rent to families and quiet groups. This is a quiet neighborhood and most important to us is that the neighbors are not disturbed. We do not allow parties or gatherings with more than 12 people.
This is our home, and we will consider having you here if either we are out of town, or we can share the space with you. Most people who stay with us are open, friendly, quiet and flexible and don't mind if we stay in the basement or garage while they're here.
If you would like to stay here, please message me with detailed information about the family or group staying, the purpose of your stay and whether or no you are open to sharing the space. Typically, we are out of town the first two weeks of August and during Christmas time.
The private studio (in basement) has a kitchenette which includes a refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, sink, and kitchen table. The studio has it's private half bath.
The Game Room has a kitchenette too, with a microwave, toaster, and dishes. It has french doors (it's own entrance), so great for privacy from the house).
The backyard is beautiful, with lush grass, (or snow - depending on the season) some trees, with a deck and outside table and chairs. No kidding, it's all enclosed by white-picket-fence - HA!!! Pretty plants and flowers are all around us....
The jacuzzi is next to the deck, on a beautifully paved patio.
We have a nice 2-car driveway and a neighborhood that the kids can play in, ride bikes, etc.
More free parking is available on the street.
Inside the house we have some nice potted plants, and a couple of pretty fish tanks - for your viewing pleasure.
People come from all-around to go shopping near us... but we are just a few blocks away! Garden State Plaza Mall is right here, so you have great shopping, restaurants, and a movie theater. We have several grocery stores, bagel shops, ice cream shops, etc... around us.
Probably the best feature of our place is WHERE we are...
We are 'comfortably' close to NYC. It's a SUPER-EASY, and quick 2 min walk to NJTransit public transportation, or you can easily drive to NYC... Up to you.
Our neighbors are FANTASTIC. Quiet. Pretty. We are also near a huge park, with a lake, bike & jogging path, close by swimming pool, tennis courts, and several jungle-gyms for kids.
No smoking. Must be quiet when outside after 10pm or before 8am. Be respectful to the neighbors.
Robyn made us feel very welcome by going out of her way to get us into the house as early as possible. Her home was very clean and comfortable. It perfectly fit the description and even had a hot tub and game room which were didn't know about when we booked it.
I am a NJ resident and needed extra space for family that was visiting so I chose this “White Picket Fence” house which was close to where I live. I have to say that Trevor and Robyn were very helpful with all the information I needed to know and were always available to answer any questions I had. Staying in the house made my entire family feel as if they were at home. Inside the house, it looked new, was kept clean, and it was comfortably furnished. We definitely enjoyed the reclining sofas and the kids enjoyed playing the Wii. It was a perfect place for the family to gather in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Trevor and Robyn were also kind enough to provide us with extra bedding and sheets. As everyone else said it is very close to a grocery store, Garden State Plaza mall, and bus to NYC.
Robyn made was feel very much at home. The house was comfortable, large, clean and bright and fit all of us quite nicely. Close to shopping centers and public transportation. Robyn was very flexible, putting out more bedding for unexpected friends of family who showed up too!
Robyn and Trevor were there when I arrived to show me around. The house was better than the pictures, comfortable and very well maintained. It was a perfect place for our family to gather, open spaces, deck, and yard. The neighborhood is close to the highway and a big shopping center, but you couldn't tell because it's quiet and residential. The bus stop to New York was a five minute walk from the house making it easy for my Manhattan family to visit.
Robyn responded quickly to any queries we had and was helpful and friendly throughout. The house was very comfortable in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, with good facilities within walking distance. We were 45 minutes to an hour from downtown Manhatten depending on traffic and the time of day. There is a bus stop just around the corner, or you can park and ride, 30 minutes away. The weather was very hot whilst we were there but the inside remained delightfully cool. We enjoyed sitting in the lovely reclining sofas. Thanks for a great (website hidden), Philip, Libby, Mia and Oscar.

About the Host, Robyn
We have lived here for about 2 years, and love the house and the neighborhood. We have one seven year old daughter and an amazing cute and friendly dog.
We love our home and are happy to share it with you. Whether you rent a room or the whole house, we welcome you. My sister-in-law told us about this program, and we are so grateful. We've been on Airbnb for over a year and we love it.
We typically spend about 3 months a year traveling and doing things we love. We work from home, so we are very lucky to have such flexibility with our schedule.
We look forward to meeting you.
