The space
Our house is located in a small village close to the sea, on the southern tip of the Swedish east coast, in a popular area called Österlen.
There are four bedrooms and 8 beds plus two smaller beds for children. Three of the bedrooms are located in the main house. And one bedroom in a smaller studio with a kitchenette and bathroom. It has it's own entrance from the inner court yard. IF needed we can also provide a big bedroom situated in a larger studio at the back of the farm building, also with a separate entrance and bathroom. This makes it perfect for two families to share if one wishes to do so.

The huge 2,5 meter farm table makes the kitchen the heart of the house which everyone gathers around. The house is lovely, so some days one might choose to just stay and laze in the garden, barbecue and enjoy the stillness of the surrounding fields.
There are toys for kids around the age of 2-8 and four bicycles to lend, of which two grown up bike and two smaller for children.
A perfect place for a nice summer vacation with the big family or two.

Where you’ll be

Borrby, Skåne län, Sweden

Our house is located in the heart of Österlen.
For many years artists, writers, birdwatchers and gardeners have made their way here to Österlen, like holiday-makers looking for a unique combination of tranquillity and intensity.
There are numerous lovely villages to visit, restaurants, cafés and the most stunning nature. There are food shops ten minutes drive from the house. Best of all are the white sand beaches that stretch for miles, just five minutes from the house (by car).
The region offers plenty of activities. There are five golf courses of varying difficulty (Tomelilla, Stiby, Ystad and two in Vik). Horseback riding tours are arranged through beechtree forests, over waterways or along the beaches. Trolling and ocean trout fishing attract enthusiasts from far away to the coasts of Österlen. Gardening, health/SPA, bicycling and nature experiences are other popular activities.
There are fairs and harvest festivals. One can spend the days with picnic on the beach, a visit to the old towns and villages, walking hikes in the surrounding lovely nature or just enjoy a nice meal in the fine restaurants scattered around the villages of Österlen.
