  • Chris and Ellie were absolutely wonderful hosts and our experience in their Guest House was exceptional. The space was gorgeous and given the warm weather we had, we were able to take advantage of the house's sun-drenched private patio.

Breakfast each morning was perfect and allowed us to start our day off relaxed without having to search for a spot each day, and while both Chris and Ellie were available for any enquiries and assistance throughout our stay, we didn't feel they wee overbearing or 'over-hosting.' We had such a great time that we stayed an extra night - I would definitely recommend their B&B to anyone looking to stay within the city centre and within walking distance from the beach, restaurants and bars, while still being able to relax.

  • We looked at this B&B when first searching for a place in Lagos and kicked ourselves for not booking it right away. We stayed here for three wonderful nights and can't say enough good things about the space, the hosts, the location, etc.

First of all, Chris & Ellie were so incredibly warm and welcoming and instantly made us feel that we could make the space our own and be comfortable during our time there. These two are funny, friendly and the type of people that you can easily spend time with.

All of our communication was clear and easy right from the start, with quick responses. The wifi at the house was fast and functional.

The house is spacious, bright, open, & clean and the outside patio area is perfection to enjoy the weather, visit, relax, etc. We booked the king size bedroom, which had high ceilings and a cute balcony. The furnishings in the house are done quite nicely, from the decor to the furniture and bedding, etc.

The bed was cozy and comfortable, the neighbourhood is quiet, with very little noise at night. The house is located within a 5-15 minute walking distance of the centre of town, restaurants, a grocery store, cafes, and also to several beaches.

The breakfast included everything we could want, and more, and was something that we really looked forward to each day. Fresh, simple, delicious, and great variety.

The shared bathroom was clean and spacious, with a large tub as well as a shower. Excellent water pressure and nice, hot water. It was just what we needed to feel refreshed!

There are so many wonderful reasons why you should book this space for your stay in Lagos. We highly recommend it!

  • We got a very warm welcome from Ellie and Chris and I would highly recommend staying with them. The house was spotless and very comfortable, the breakfast (and coffee!) was great and the location is really cozy in the old part of Lagos, within walking distance to restaurants and bars, as well as the beach. Ellie and Chris are really friendly, they helped us with all the practical need-to-knows in Lagos, they showed us around and gave us tips on where to grab a bite, etc. All in all a great stay.

  • Me and my boyfriend stayed 2 nights at Enseada Guest House, in Lagos. Ellie and Chris were two great hosts, so that we quickly felt like home. The room was as nice as in the photo, and everything very clean. And the location, in the real city center, not far from the wonderful Lagos beaches, was perfect! PS: do not miss the delicious breakfast!

Chris and I moved to Lagos in May this year. We have been visiting Lagos on holidays for the past 6 years and finally found our home here last year. We love Portugal and found Lagos was a great place to explore surrounding places and surf of the west coast beaches.
