Whether you're in Jakarta for business or pleasure, this is an ideal pleace to stay in elite Menteng, right in the heart of historic Old Jakarta.
The apartment is my pied-à-terre for days when I am in the city however lately I have been rarely visiting since I am staying mostly in the suburban area, and so I am renting the it out on a short-term basis.
Since the apartment is in a residential area, rest assured your stay will be tranquil and you will have total privacy. You will have your own access key and full use of the facility. I will provide you with weekly change of bedsheets and extra set of towels. A washing machine is recently installed in the bathroom so you can do your own laundry.
Menteng is one of the few places in Jakarta where you can walk around safely and leisurely - I do that often myself. Nearby, there are plenty of restaurants, shops, night life hangouts, etc. Don't like night life so much? Worry not. There are plenty of green parks where they have old Mahogany trees to marvel at (Taman Suropati just a 15-mnt walk away).
Getting around is easy: you can walk, or take a cab from the corner of the street. And don't forget, you'll have your own personal concierge - me!
No smoking inside the apartment. It is permitted, however, on the balcony.

Perfect location, good to go places - and gianita is the perfect host, she is extremely helpful and nice and makes you feel at home immediately. this was the best spot for our first trip to Jakarta and we would love to come back!
Gianita was an incredible host during my brief staying in Jakarta. A very thoughtful, kind, and above all, helpful human being. I would like to emphasize that she helped me A LOT during my staying in Indonesia. I cannot recall receiving such wonderful treatment before.
You can rest assured that you will receive the best treatment at the her place.
If I ever come to Jakarta in the future, Gianita will be my first option (and I hope her apartment will be vacant). : )
My husband and I and 2 friends stayed at Gianita's place twice in December. We really love our stay there that we decided to come back for the second time after a trip around east Indonesia. The place is perfect, it's got everything you need. The location is also perfect for our friends who'd never been to Indonesia before. It's so close to the centre so they can feel the metropolitan vibe of Jakarta, yet it's located in a nice quiet neighbourhood where they can also experience living in a house. Gianita is such a great host, she's very helpful but she also leaves you alone. We'll keep in touch!
'Tranquil' is the exact word to describe the neighbourhood. Gianita and her husband are excellent hosts. The lovely house is spacious, super clean, tastefully furbished and decorated. It is a great place to spend quality time with family and friends. Highly recommended!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The appartemtent is situated in Menteng, a very spacious a a-typical area of Jakarta with verious city-parks around the corner and no traffic-jams!
We loved to spend a few days in this apartment in Jakarta. The description is absolutely correct. The location is absolutely perfect, calm and quiet, but so close to the busy Jakarta, just a few meters away. Gianita is a perfect guide to Jakarta and very helpful.
Jean-Marc & familly.

I am an interior designer with a law background, prone to random travels at the last minute and reading books about notorious historical figures. Since I have a great sense of orientation and direction, another career option for me would be to be a super fabulous taxi driver. We'll see if it ever happens :)
My idea of a good time is to share a great meal with a good bottle of wine (or several!) with my friends and end the evening with a game of CatchPhrase (while trying not to break the poor game device)
I love having my friends over, and I always make sure the place is warm and welcoming when they come. Sometimes I go all out and cook something (usually an Indonesian fare, which is always a hit). Otherwise, I just pop up a bag of garlic peanuts and call it a day. So far, they love my place and its energy. I hope you will feel the same way too...
