We enjoyed a wonderful week at Naomi's.
Although it was freezing outside, everything at her place is warm and cozy. The bed and closet have plenty of room for two.
We followed her wise advice and enjoyed very much some places she recommended us for eating. And the Mojitos at the bar where she works in manhattan are real nice as well !!
Don't leave without checking the rooftop of the building : it has an awesome view of Manhattan skyline !
And Naomi is a great host, we'll definetely stay at her place again !
Naomi is great. She is very helpful, understanding and friendly. Her place is nice, clean and cosy. I recommend it!
Naomi was a great host! Super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Great space and good location to get around. Definitely recommend!
Great spot! Naomi was nice and came out to the bars with us on one of the nights. Very fun
Very nice and friendly overall a very nice experience!!
I spent 3 nights at Naomi's and toatlly enjoyed it!
She was working late and left the keys outside for us, we actually had the place for ourselves 99% of the time. She texted me the road directions for the cab driver :) and she always promptly replied to my texts.
The bedroom is perfect for 2 people, we were 3 and I slept on the pull-out sofa...loved it! Sharing the bathroom was not an issue.
Taxi from JFK is $36+tip, closest subway is 10 minute walking distance, takes 20 minutes to get to Times Square (line 2-3).
Quiet neighborhood, restaurants and grocery stores are close to the house.
I strongly recommend it and I will stay there again next time I'm in NYC.
Good location, good value for money, good welcome
Naomi is just about the sweetest, most-welcoming host you could hope for. She lets you do your thing, but is more than happy to have a chat or watch a movie in the living room. She makes a great green fruit smoothie and is quick to offer snacks, wine, beer, extra blankets, directions, etc. Her boyfriend, Curtis, is also a class-act: super friendly and helpful. I easily walked all over Brooklyn from Naomi's place, and took both the bus and the subway to Manhattan, etc. I had a fantastic trip and wouldn't hesitate to stay with Naomi again!
I stayed with my friends at Naomi's place. I have to admit it - it was just great! Naomi is such a wonderful person and her appartment is very nice. Comfortable, clean and relaxed! Thanks Naomi!
Naomi is the best. Her apartment is spotless and comfortable. Thank the gods she has air conditioning in her guest's room, as Brooklyn was HOT and sticky at the beginning of September. Naomi always has her guests needs and comfort in mind. She was even a bit perturbed that many of her guests don't take seriously her offer to make themselves at home, e.g., the tings in her refrigerator are for her guests and she is tired of having to throw things out because guests didn't avail themselves of her hospitality. Before we arrived she specifically asked if there was anything she could provide to make our (my boys and me) stay comfortable. I thought she was just being nice, but she means it. Her apartment is located close to the subways, so it is easy to move around the NYC area from her place. If I ever need to come to Brooklyn again, Naomi is the first place I'll check.
