A cute London styled apartment in the very Centre of London.
Strong private ' WIFI ' Connection included.
We are offering our very neatly styled London Holiday home for short stays; It is immaculately presented and filled with new towels, kitchenware and fun items for you to enjoy!
We are located on St Giles High Street in a Victorian building on the first floor on the rear of the building, only seconds away from Tottenham Court Road Station, Oxford Street, Soho and Covent Garden! we really are in the middle of it all.
There is a good size studio room with separate shower room. We have a dining area, tub chairs for lounging, wardrobe for storage, large TV and Bose sound system, well equipped kitchen with microwave oven, oven stove, fridge freezer and all the plates, saucepans, cuttlery and glasses you need.
The location in phenomenal, we are around some bar music venues so there may be a little noise from time to time but the flat is well insulated. The array of food options is amazing with Korean, Chinese, and Japanese very nearby, a Jamie Oliver restaurant opposite in the St Giles buildings Courtyard then the mass of options around Covent Garden and Soho. Shopping is the best in the world with Oxford Street and Covent Garden about a minute away!
The transport links again are on your doorstep with direct access to the Central, Northern and Piccadilly Undergorund Lines (Blue, Red & Black) on your doorstep and many bus routes to all ends of London.

I specifically chose this flat based upon its location and I was not at all disappointed. Those who want direct walking access to Soho, Covent Garden, and Leicester Square can not ask to be in a better spot. Plus you are literally atop the Tottenham Court tube station which gives you access to pretty much anywhere else you need to go.
We stayed in the flat for almost a full week, and yes, it is noisy on the weekends with the bands playing downstairs, but this is mitigated easily with both ear plugs and enjoying your own late nights out.
Charlie met us, gave us everything we needed to be certain to thoroughly enjoy our week in London, and was more than accommodating.
Honestly, for the two of us, a couple from America, it was absolutely perfect. We walked from the flat nearly everywhere we wanted to go and I loved how easy that was to do each day, rain or shine.
We will most certainly contact David and Charlie, again, on our return to London. It really is all about location.
The apartment is perfectly located, so easy and central to everything. It is rather small but Charlie was very accommodating, providing a blow up mattress and bedding to make the place livable. There is everything there needed for cooking, an ample supply of towels and necessities. The outside is a bit bleak and the stairs worn but once inside it is quite cozy.
This apartment was in an amazing location! So if that is your priority then you can't go past it! As other posts have stated it is a little small, but for one person it did the trick! Also I thought it could've been maintained a little better, but that may just be my very high standards.
Hi Debbey, thanks for your positive feedback much appreciated, as you say location is fantastic, it is not a big apartment s you say but is ideal as a base. Sorry we did not reach the high standards for maintenance, I shall get my wife to give Charlie some more lessons in cleaning!!! LOL
The apartment was very well located and Charlie was great!
When we arrived the apartment was a bit cold and the small heater wasn't sufficient to heat the whole place. Charlie was working next door and brought us a bigger heater promptly and the stay was comfortable. You can't beat the location since it's in the middle of all the action. We were happy with our stay and our host.
This apartment is undoubtedly FABULOUSLY placed. We didn't use the underground once during our stay but were able to walk to all the places we wanted with great ease - from Covent Garden to the South Bank, Oxford Street, Regent Street, Carnaby Street and Soho. Brilliant!
We really did spend absolutely all day and evening out and about, which is what you do when you're staying in such a fabulous location, so all good. However, the apartment really is so small that you wouldn't actually want to have planned to stay in for an evening or cook. It has a tiny kitchenette, which is perfect for making a cup of tea or coffee - or pouring a glass of wine! - but really not much more. The flat was clean and tidy, which was great, but not one that you would want to spend much time in. However, in my opinion, if you're coming to stay in Covent Garden, why would you want to stay in? So it was fine for us.
We did have a problem on the first night with a faulty switch on the bathroom fan causing the apartment to lose all power. This was a problem as it was December and the flat only has an electric radiator so it was freezing, and both our phones were quickly out of charge. However, to be fair, we didn't get in and realise this until about midnight and Charlie came round at about 2am when he got our message! It was still a cold, dark night until we were relocated gone midday the next day to another flat. There wasn't a lot more that Charlie could have done but it was a bit of a blight on an otherwise great weekend.
The only other point to note is the noise from the bar adjacent to the flat, which was really very noisy both nights we were there - until about 3am on the Saturday night and about midnight on the Sunday. Honestly, it comes with the location, and the location is so great that we put up with it, but it's not a place for light sleepers or if you're very bothered by noise.
In summary, the flat is pretty basic and VERY small but clean, tidy and WONDERFULLY located and ear-plugs are provided!
Sorry about the faulty switch that caused you a problem we have hopefully resolved this now with the owners of the building, I do hoe this did not spoil your stay too much and am glad that Charlie was able to sort you out an alternative apartment. Yes the apartment is not huge but as you say most people are out and about when they come. The noise from the bar is something we do make as clear as we can on our description but on the plus side it is quiet in the morning for a lie in !!!!
Apartment ideally located for a short stay in London, 5 minutes walk from Soho, Covent Garden and 15 minutes from Piccadilly.
Clean room, comfortable bed, the view lacks charm but the comfort of the apartment is very good.
I would definitely come back!
Thank you to David and Charly for their hospitality.
The cosy little apartment certainly has its fantastic location as a bonus indeed. Truly appreciated its vicinity within walking distances of our campus as well as great hang-out spots. Besides, it's right next to an underground station. This had set the deal for me. However, it does get real chilly during winter since the apartment only uses a small portable heater. There is no actual washer/dryer facilities (to my disappointment) but the host did offer to do our laundry for us, which we didn't take up. With a high turn over of guests over peak seasons, do expect a longer wait for check-in. If it wasn't for my bad cold, we would have contacted Charlie and David during our stay to help us with a bit of tweaks to the apartment.
