Anjali & Walid sent us loads of information about the house, how to pick up keys, how to get there, etc. I was so impressed with their speed in getting back to us whenever we had a question or a request! 10/10 for sure! The apartment is even more beautiful live and the neighbourhood is safe and very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again!
Great classic San Francisco's apt !! close enough to all San Francisco's attractions. Apt is modern new and spacious. I spent 4 great days with my family there enjoying the good restaurants in Castro and taking the streetcar (10min. Walk) to go downtown and to the Wharf. Anjali and Walid were great hosts with a lots of suggestions and a great to do list !
We spent a great month in this apt. The apt. was large, well equipped and had a fantastic view. We parked our car on Romain St. and took the #37 bus everywhere. The bus stops one block from the apt.
We had 3 sets of friends visit for 2 days each and having 2 beautiful bathrooms made it very comfortable for two couples. The second bedroom has a sleeper sofa that is very comfortable.
Having laundry facilities in the bldg. was a plus.
Not having network TV was a problem since we are sports and news watchers, but we just went to a Sports Bar for the games.
We are an older couple and love to walk, but the hills were hard. Bus #37 took care of that. We could explore anywhere in the city and always get a ride back up the hill.
Anjali was an incredibly responsive, helpful and friendly host. She replied within minutes and no question was too small to ask. The place was a perfect size for 2 adult friends; we each had our own room. I stayed in the guest bedroom which had a pullout and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. The view from the kitchen table was breath-taking. I stayed up late a few nights just watching the city twinkle. The location was nice and even though it's right on Market Street (a busy street), it was quiet because of how high up the apartment is and the bedrooms are at the back of the apartment. Catching the city rail (BART?) required a 15-minute walk (downhill - yay!). We opted for Ubers for the most part and we had to be very explicit with the drivers as the apartment is on a part of the street that's far from a place where you can make a U-turn. We had drivers cancel trips a few times, so we learned to tell them we were on the south side of the street and that seemed to help. The Castro was a really safe, beautiful, diverse neighbourhood. Anjali recommended a restaurant on 24th called Firely which was about a 15 minute walk and we LOVED it. We went there twice in 6 days. This was my first Airbnb experience and Anjali made it really easy and comfortable.
What a beautiful apartment. But it is upstaged by the incredible view of the entire city. You can see the Bay Bridge, City Hall's beautifully lit dome, the Transamerica building, and the bay. The apartment is big and not just for San Francisco standards, and beautifully decorated. Anjali and Walid are gracious hosts and make everything easy.
We had my husband's mother with us and the egress up to the apartment was a bit of a problem for her though she is a fit 80 years old.
It's in a fun area of San Francisco, but a bit too far from areas like the Embarcadero, Chinatown, and North Beach especially since we had to forgo our usual use of the Muni for Uber which got expensive.
We had a great time at Anjali's beautiful apartment. Anjali was extremely helpful and responsive from the get go and the apartment was perfectly located for our trip.
The highlight of the apartment has to be the vista views of the wonderful SanFrancisco skyline. Lovely to sit on the balcony and enjoy a beer and the view.
We'll defiantly be returning to SanFrancisco one day and would hope to stay there again!
It was a very special time that we spent at Anjali and Walid's place. Everything was like we expected and more. The flat is very nice, the neighbourhood even better. Their house is cozy, clean, fancy. And they are a very special kind of people. Any time we needed help, they were there with their special tips, advices and suggestions. A unique time in our life. Really worth it!
Welcome to our home in San Francisco - we are currently based out of here but frequently on the road for work and to indulge our love for travel. Anjali is a financial strategist for ecologically minded ventures and Walid is an international development consultant for stubborn governments.
We love chocolate, good food, reading, rock climbing, diving, travel, and adventure sports - most of which are to be found in abundance in this beautiful city. We hope to meet you during your stay at our home, but regardless, we will always be available to help you get settled in and enjoy your stay.
