Open design with communal living area and fully equipped outdoor kitchen with all kinds of utensils, dishes, refrigerator, stove gas, etc. We have several nice hammocks and hammock chairs in the beautiful palapa social area.
To support sustainable living, the house is powered by solar energy. Waste water is treated before its disposal. We use eco-friendly low wattage bulbs. All these actions allow us to minimize our impact in the ecosystem.

Larisa Y Carlos are so wonderful in how they care for their guests. I felt immediately at home at their casa. When we arrived Carlos helped us park our car and carry our belongings up to the Luna room. I travelled with 2 other women. One stayed up in the loft area and handled the ladder well. The room was clean, the view of the ocean from this room is wonderful. The ocean breeze becomes a constant friend. I loved the baloncy for doing yoga and hanging out. We loved the outdoor kitchen area and found that it bought people together for spontaneous gatherings of sharing drink and cooking food. I was able to get to know not only people from other states in the U.S. but also people from several other countries. We turned the music from the occasional wedding next store into our own party dancing wildly in the sand. The last night there we had a party of about 10 grilling food and having a potluck together. Even with the lovely connections with others, I had plenty of time to reflect, write and have privacy. The design of the garden, the path, the common space is perfect. Everything you see is so beautiful and the whole experience just brings you to feel peace. I would go back today, tomorrow, next week, anytime. I loved it all. I hope those travelling here understand that this is not luxury but it is very comfortable. You become comfortable with not having a lot. The shower is long because it may take longer to wash your hair with less water pressure. You need to pay attention to your electrical needs but there is plenty of electricity. I needed it for medical equipment...it was just fine. I am someone that is very comfortable with nature and in this home you live very close to nature. You may find an occasional bug, but it is their home also and it is so nice to be in a place that does not poison everything. The birds filling the palm trees above you with song appreciate this. I swam in the ocean everyday. (I made peace with the sea weed coming in. Everything has a season and the seaweed is being used for compost to help more trees and plants to grow on the beach.) Each morning I watched the sunrise with the delicious Mexican coffee made by the precious cook and house cleaner, Norma. My friend had an outdoor massage from Larisa that she said was so restful and wonderful. I walked all of the time on the beach to nearby restaurants, used the bikes that Larisa and Carlos have there. The road is crazy. Bring reflective gear if you will walk on it at night. A flash light is also a good idea. Come with any open heart and you will leave with a heart that is happy and full. It was sad to leave. I stayed a week and could have easily...
Exactly what We expected. Tulum is beautiful. Its a romantic place. Larisa Y Carlos's place is very neat. An excellent experience. Private!!! Quite!! Peaceful!!! Simple!
Larisa's and Carlos' place is beautiful. Carlos was waiting for us in the evening and even invited us to his party the same night. This place is for you if you want to hear the waves, love cooking outside with others, respect nature and don't like big hotels or all inclusive. This place shouts yoga, spirulina, nature materials, good food, coronas on the beach, fun neighbors and down to earth living. Absolutely amazing and for a Scandinavian like a true summer house - in a bit different climate though. Carlos was helpful and has a truly wonderful way of life. There are amazing restaurants, yoga, bikes and even SUP close by. Diving is great: Carlos' friend Salvador organized a great, advanced cenote diving. One of the best experiences we have had. Will go back with our daughters (teenagers will love Tulum).
Perfection!!!! We loved staying here and cannot wait to come back again. The place is even more magical than what the pictures show. When you open the gates to the property you find yourself in a lush jungle garden. 2 of the 3 rooms are built sort of like tree houses. Beach is fantastic. We took full advantage of the shared kitchen. I recommend you get your groceries from Chedaraui supermarket; it has everything unlike the other supermarkets in town. We cooked many of our meals here and saved tons of money that way. The shared kitchen is very open/welcoming and sufficient for basic cooking. If you are a meat eater try El Asedero for steaks in town..some of the best steak I ever had (also have great mojitos). If you are not renting a car to get here take the ADO bus- it's inexpensive, clean and runs frequently. No need to bring snorkels unless you plan to go to Akumal. Highly recommended!
Thank you Larisa y Carlos for an amazing experience. My family (husband and two boys) loved staying in 'Luna' which has views of the beach and loft bed. We used the outdoor kitchen and hammocks for relaxing. Coffee made every morning was delicious. The fish and pork tacos down the beach were also a treat. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone who is coming to Tulum.
Larisa and Carlos were wonderfully warm. They went out of their way to make sure that my family (two daughters and spouse) were comfortable. The neighborhood was nice. It was also good to have use of the fridge and cooking facilities. We plan to return when we next visit Tulum, which will probably be in a year. And I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wishes to visit Tulum and stay away from the "all-inclusive" hotels that are beginning to destroy the laid back ambience.

We are an open mind people that celebrate life meditating, swimming on the beach and in cenotes, doing yoga, reading, riding the bicycles, walking in the beach, cooking, eating, doing massage and taking care of nature. Drinking and dancing.... "Relax"......
Our house is in a walking distance of many restaurants, bar's and hotels, expect parties and weddings on weekends.
Our beautiful place is a House, not a Hotel. Expect a very comfortable, clean and rustic place, friendly people all the time.
We are here to enjoy and share the best of us.
