Room in a condo

Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
Beautifully garden themed room in a renovated centrally located 100m2 apartment with direct access to Barajas Airport, Atocha Central Train Station and Mendez Álvaro Sur Bus Station, as well as Sol and Museo del Prado.

The space
This post is for a beautifully garden themed room for a max of three occupants in a renovated centrally located 100m2 apartment with an elegant open kitchen. Direct access to Barajas Airport, Atocha Central Train Station and Mendez Álvaro Sur Bus Station, as well as Sol and all the famous museums. It is also great if you want to visit nearby towns such as Toledo and Segovia as they are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Must visit if you are in Madrid!

The apartment is super convenient. Metro Line3 Delicias is just at the street intersection. Cercanias Delicias station is just a couple of blocks up. There are also bus services that go directly to tourist spots. You can also walk to Reina Sofia Museum in 15mins.

We change sheets after every stay so you'll get clean ones when you move in. We have also just upgraded our internet to Fibre Optic for super fast connection. Stream multiple simultaneous HD content smoothly.

Check out time is 11.00AM. You can keep your luggage in the apartment that day so you can enjoy the rest of the day. Check-in time is at 14:00 but you are welcome to leave your belongings earlier at 11AM. If the rooms are ready before that you can of course move in earlier but you would probably be outside enjoying the sun with beer on hand ;)

Other things to note
We strive to create a great experience for all our guests. If you are new on the platform there are some things we want to remind you of:

- This booking is for a private room, in a shared apartment with the host (my mother) and most possibly other Airbnb guests
- For the price you will be much more comfortable than staying at a hostel but also please be respectful as it is a personal residence

Once you make the booking, we will send you clear instructions on how to get to the apartment and other important info that will save you time and money. I've also designed a Madrid guide for those new to the city so you can make the most of your time here.

Where you’ll be

Madrid, Comunidad de Madrid, Spain

Mostly residential area away from the noisy night drunks. There are also bars and restaurants around the neighborhood as well as cheaper supermarkets and fruit shops than the center. If you love museums, the famous Reina Sofia museum is within walking distance.

I'm a designer, a photographer, a modern nomad. I live with less and work from anywhere in the world. So far it has been 8 cities in 3 continents and counting! Though I'm a digital designer by profession, I love interior design and took the chance to renovate my mother's decades-old apartment during a trip back so she could live more comfortably. As you can imagine it wasn't an easy task, try telling your parents to throw that old clock stuck at ten to eleven or that weird looking boat that's supposed to bring luck into the family. But we worked out something in the end and I got to take down some walls, placed a new floor that keeps the house super cool in summer, and basically changed all the furniture in the house. That boat stayed on though. ;P My mother is based in Madrid and has been working as a local tour guide for VIP groups from Asian countries and brings them all over Spain, sometimes even to Morocco, Portugal and France. Though tiring she loves her job and meeting people. My sister and I don't stay in Spain normally so she's happy to have company with at the apartment if she's not away on tour. If you book with us please take care of the house and treat it as your own. I have prepared a guide to give you an overview of the city. If we are at home we'll be happy to help you with planning so you make the most of your stay in the city :)
