Suburbs in the City! This bright & modern home is located -2 miles from downtown Minneapolis in a quiet neighborhood on a cul-de-sac. This completely updated split-entry home features a bright lower level that overlooks a lovely backyard garden.
The three-room Airbnb space sleeps four with a queen sized (Tempurpedic) bed in one bedroom, and a queen sized bed in an alcove that is open to the living space, while still providing ample privacy. Guests have a private bath with shower. The space features a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and toaster. There is a 32" flat screen TV that has broadcast channels and Netflix. WiFi is also available.
Guests will have the entire lower level to themselves.

I will not be present. However, I do have a roommate who occupies the upper level of my home. And I do have a home office in the upper level that I will be in and out of during the day.
I'm within minutes of downtown and a urban lifestyle, and have easy access to freeways and transit to get to anywhere in the city, all while being in a quiet suburban neighborhood with a large private backyard.
Yes. A bus stop is a two-minute walk. The light rail station is a 20-minute walk or short cab ride.

DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT - A reservation deposit of $300 is required through the airbnb it is fully refundable provided the following provisions are met.
• No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
• No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
• All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are cleaned. All perishable foods brought with guests has been renmoved from the home/fridge.
• All keys are left in the lockbox and the unit is left locked.
• All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
• No linens are lost or damaged.
• No early check-in or late checkout.
• No property of the home is lost or damaged
• The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company employed by the owner.
PAYMENT – is made through the airbnb system.
MINIMUM STAY – This property may require a minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods.
INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup.
NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.
RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
PARKING –Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking (driveway and public street areas only. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
WATER AND SEPTIC – YOU AGREE TO ALERT THE OWNER IMMEDIATELY IF YOU SUSPECT ANY ISSUE RELATED TO WATER OR SEPTIC SYSTEMS.
STORM POLICY– No refunds will be given for storms and or storm damages that may make the home unlivable during the course of the rental. Refunds will be provided for the days remaining on the reservation. Homeowners assume no liability and renter agrees to hold homeowner harmless in the event of loss of life or property as the result of storms or other natural disaster.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITY /VIOLATIONS OF THE RULES– No illegal activity is allowed on the property. Such activities and/or violations of the rules as stated in the contract will result in the immediate cancellation of this agreement. No refunds will be provided.
ACCESS- Renters agree to permit access to the property at any time to address safety or home maintenance issues that may arise or if illegal activity or violation of the rules as stated in this agreement are suspected. Ample warning will be attempted before entry.
PETS – No pets of any kind are allowed on or within this property.
This home is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise
I had a fabulous stay at Randy's place. He was such a kind and thoughtful host. I arrived on Valentine's night and he even invited me up for "happy hour". Just what I needed!
As for the space, the bed was super comfortable, the electric kettle kept me at the top of my tea game and the breakfast snacks Randy left for me saved me in the mornings. His place is in a great location which makes it easy to get to Uptown/downtown.
I'll definitely reach out to Randy again when I'm in the area!
My friend Reidi and I cannot say enough about Randy's bed and breakfast. He has beautiful taste and is a very generous host. The space and energy were warm, bright, hospitable and comfortable too. Being in his home was easy and we highly recommend that you stay with him. Randy went out of his way to accommodate us with thoughtful things like homemade cookies and a bottle of red wine. He even gave us a ride to the train after we were late checking out!!
Randy was a gracious, helpful, and humorous host; we loved our stay in his home. The pictures, while accurate, don't do the space justice--Randy's sense of style and vibrancy is evident throughout. When asked, he had many terrific shopping and dining (email hidden)st of which we sampled. Very convenient location, and easy to get around the city from there. Wish we'd come a little earlier in the fall and could have taken advantage of Randy's beautiful garden! Great stay; would highly recommend to others.
Randy was wonderful! His place was perfect. Clean, quiet, great location and with a beautiful back yard to escape the city and relax in. He is an amazing host and brought us home made salsa upon our arrival, which was extremely delish! Thank you for sharing your place with us Randy, we had a great time.
It was very lovely house! Including wonderful interior, it was very comfortable and safe. The Cub Food Market and a convenience store are very close to the house. And we can use NiceRide(Public bycicle system) near the house. Bus stop is also close to it. We got a lot of help from Randy. We spent a good time in Minneaplis by his favor.
Randy was wonderful to stay with. I loved the space. I was out most of the time but when I finally slowed down a little I had a mojito, fresh salad from his garden, and cheese and crackers on his beautiful porch over nice conversation. Just like staying with friends. I would recommend to anyone.

I'm a native Minnesotan living in Minneapolis. Love to travel, get-togethers with friends, and the outdoors. Toby, my Chihuahua/Terrier and I have lived in the home for 10 years, during which time I've remodeled it completely, bringing a late '70s split entry into modern times. I currently rent the upper level of my home to a long-time friend who is also available to answer questions when I'm not available.
