his charming loft is situated in the heart of Jewish Ghetto, on Portico D’Ottavia. This characteristic area is extremely strategical due to the fact that it is in between Campo De Fiori and Pantheon. Do not miss an Italian Aperitivo with good selection of wines and “plateau” of French cheeses with Salumi at “Beppe e i suoi Formaggi”. Also we suggest you to have dinner at the famous ” Da Giggetto al Portico D’Ottavia”.
The apartment is on the 1st floor of a fifteenth century building with a lot of charm (the building doesn’t have a lift). The dining room has a large black glass table with chairs and paintings.
The open-kitchen is next to the dining room. It is well-equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, gas stove, dishwasher and washing machine. An original stone arch divide the dining room from the living room.
The living room features comfortable black sofas, coffee table and laptop. The bedrooms are located on the mezzanine. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, wardrobe, night tables and abat-jour. The twin bedroom has two single beds, night tables and abat-jour. The bathroom features wide shower box.
We really recommend this charming loft apartment to a couple or a family with children.
Great place, very central in Rome. Beds a bit hard and noisy and the "rooms"are in fact two mezzanines with beds. But you really feel like a roman, old restored building, quiet yard. Perfect for a family. Very good restaurant and kosher grocery nearby.
You Couldn't ask for a better position, surrounded by restaurants cafes and bakery's-not to mention the amazing ruin at the end of the street. The apartment was quirky and lovely, it had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our time here. The only down side was the beds and pillows were a little firm- but I have noticed Italians like hard beds.
