We have a comfortable, cozy, finished bedroom in our clean basement. Cable TV and WiFi included. Private bathroom and full use of our kitchen. Continental breakfast (coffee, bagels, fruit) included. Plenty of parking. We do have a cat. Our home is located 21 miles west of Boston, 2 miles from the State University here in town. There is commuter rail service from Framingham into Boston but the train station is a few miles from our house. We're on a busy street but the backyard is quiet and abuts woods. There is also a nice 3-season back porch overlooking the woods. Nice neighborhood and plenty of walking/jogging routes.
No smoking, no pets.
While I visited a nearby school, I had a wonderful stay at Susan's place. I spend 5 nights. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and I could use the kitchen for cooking.
I would totally recommend this place.
We needed a one night stay accommodations last minute. We decided to leave Seattle on a morning flight versus the red eye we had planned, and i literally booked this stay with Susan on the airplane ride over to boston.
We were worried that we would be too far away from the city, but Susan gave us all the transportation and train info, and then even insisted that she pick us up from the train station near her home, vs. taking a cab. Additionally, our plane arrived late, and she was so kind and understanding. The following morning, she had cereal,, and coffee ready for us and drove us back to the bus station so we could get back into downtown boston for the rest of our stay.
the house is just what she says it is. a cozy room in the the basement of her nice home, the bed was clean, the room was neat, and the bathroom we had access to was on the main level of the home, but it was just for us during our stay... the stay suited us perfectly.
our host Susan, is a really nice woman, very friendly and personable and i would recommend her.
