The house is fantastic. It's so big! It's really well equipped with lovely touches throughout. Joanna was really easy to deal with and answered emails quickly and provided good information about the house and area. We were also treated to a bottle of wine from the region and a lovely cake. June, the managing agent in Todi, was so helpful, providing loads of information about the house and area.
Todi is about a 15 min drive away and is a beautiful old Italian town. It's also easy to get to other towns in Umbria or just relax on the terrace at the house. I definitely recommend staying here if you'd like a very clean, comfortable house that's away from all hustle and bustle.
The house is confortable and very well equipped. The position is perfect to visit Umbria, since it is in the middle of many interesting places. Todi is very nice; the house is located a few km outside the city center, close to E45 motorway and a big shopping center. The host offered us a bottle of wine and biscuits as welcome gift. A very good experience!
We stayed as a party of 3 couples and 1 single and We had a lovely time at the Todi Farmhouse. Joanne has been very thorough with her furnishings and kitchen items as the house is extremely well equipped. The kitchen and dining area had everything you would want and more. The bed rooms are large with beautiful embroidered coverlets, authentic furniture and pedestal fans for the warm summer weather. You will definitely need a car to stay there as public transport is not available, and you are a 15 min drive from the town of Todi. There is a large well priced supermarket a 5 min drive down the road and some cafes and pastry shops all a few minutes drive away. One particular pastry shop is fantastic and very inexpensive... Great for breakfast and coffee. Lastly, the managing agent June, is very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She arranged for extra fans and gave us loads of information about the area.
We live in London and do our best to visit our place in Umbria as often as possible. We absolutely love the Italian lifestyle and are proud to share Casa Ilci and all the wonderful experiences available in the immediate area.
