Burch Bungalow

House - Private room · Baywood-Los Osos, CA, United States

The Space

We refer to our place as Contemporary Tropical, with a well lit open layout, concrete and wood floors, concrete counter tops, and colorful pleasing visual appeal. The kitchen is spacious, has a gas convection oven and plenty of room to make your evening meals. The major appeal to our house is our large outdoor Kitchen/ BBQ area with Palapa and gas fire pit. A wonderful place to cook your meals, sit and enjoy a glass of wine, and sun tan while listening to music. The bedroom is simple, and the bed features a Memory Foam Mattress that is probably the same as sleeping on a cloud :-) . You will have your own private bathroom that has recently been remodeled.
Our house is walking distance to the bay (a few blocks) and bike riding distance from Montana De Oro (4 miles) where you can find great mountain biking trails, horse back riding, surfing and hiking.
Aaron and Clinessa were born and raised in the area and would be happy to share our local knowledge of great mountain biking trails, hiking, surf spots, wineries, and beer tasting, music events.
There is a bus station a block away and cruiser bikes can be provided to the right people.
We have a cat and dog, so yes pets are allowed but will be screened.

Interaction with Guests

We love to interact with our guests and are very outgoing. We are down to interact on whatever level our guest are comfortable with.

The Neighborhood

We live in a very friendly neighborhood. It walking distance to the back bay which is very picturesque.
Our favorite thing is how quiet it is. At night we can lay in bed with the widows open and it is 100% quiet. No noise at all, it is extremely peaceful.

  • Unquestionably one of our best night and meeting in California !
Aaron and Clinessa are very kind, we past a very good moment around the meal, and California wine glasses. The house is very beautiful, the room is like the description, cute and quiet. The private bathroom is excellent! To close the stay, we share a very good moment in the breakfast on the morro bay, it was awesome!
The only regret it's to be left so earlier!

  • Aaron and Clinessa were welcoming and wonderful hosts. Upon arriving they offered us a beer and gave us great suggestions on local restaurants and attractions. The room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Their home is beautifully decorated and open. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly suggest it!

  • The house is in the nice place and has nice looking inside. It has a beautiful garden which was decorated by the owner himself. He is a nice person to get along with. Thanks for the beers and your story of the surfing and stone.

  • Aaron is a wonderful host. My fiancé and I only stayed at his place for one night but we felt like we should have stayed much longer. The house is exquisite and Aaron gave us a very warm welcoming. Our room was very nice with a comfy bed. We deeply appreciated the fact that the house is located in a quiet area. We had a very quiet and restful night.

We will probably go back to the Morro Bay one day and if so, we will definitely book Aaron's bnb again!
My fiancé and I strongly recommend this address!

  • Aaron and Clinessa are great hosts. The decorative fire pit is a fine place to have a few glasses of wine. The garden, custom concrete hardscaping & Tiki bar make for a great get-away under the stars. You can easily walk a few blocks down the street to the bay and enjoy a breakfast burrito. D'Oro is just a few miles away for Mtn biking & hiking.

  • Super awesome!!!!!

    February 2014
  • Aaron and his wife were very accommodating as we had two children and arrived much later [early AM] than anticipated. We enjoyed our brief stay and wish we had more time to enjoy the creativity of the place.

    January 2014
  • We stayed two nights and it was perfect. Clean room, great bathroom, and even though the room wound up being in the house rather than separate, we had plenty of privacy. Best part of your stay though was the great recommendations for food and activities that our hosts gave us! They were super sweet and knowledgable about the area.

Aaron and Clinessa are both from the central coast. We enjoy being active, adventuring, hiking, biking, surfing, scuba diving, meeting new peeps, listening to music etc. Pretty much all kinds of fun stuff that life has to offer. We enjoy all the things there are to do here at home. Wine tasting, beer drinking, music festivals, concerts bands and nightlife. We have lots of fun friends and a close community here in Los Osos. We also like to vacation whenever we get the opportunity. We have been to a lot of different countries and places in the world and is one of the reasons we would like to share our home with fellow travelers. The Central Coast is a great area to visit and vacation and we would be stoked to give you as much information as we can to help you have a memorable and super fun stay.
