About this listing
My home is not a hotel environment, it is very special to me and I am happy to share it will people. I must say overall since I have been hosting with airbnb it has been my pleasure meeting the guests and hearing their adventures whilst in Dublin.
The apartment is two night minimum stay! It is rented out in its entirety. The apartment is modern and it has lots of natural light. It Is a two bedroom apartment but one room is my studio (this will be closed during the duration of your stay). Although if interested in accessories you can always request a viewing! The main bedroom has a king-size bed with en-suite, there is a main bathroom off the hall, from the hall from which you enter into the kitchen and living room, this is open plan with the living room leads onto the balcony. The living area has twin and three seater couch. Kitchen with table and chairs and normal appliances.
This apartment is in a safe, gated apartment complex . 3 story building with my apartment on the top 'penthouse' (only a joke with the neighbours) interesting views from balcony looking onto Irishtown and other local views.
This is a great neighborhood with loads of restaurant and bar options, and wonderful walking area. Irishtown Library is in front of the building of the Bottleworks. There is a hair salon 5 minutes from the apartment. There is a cafe/charity shop next door to the apartment and another new cafe bar a few doors up. An express supermarket downstairs opened until 11pm. Poolbeg beach, Irishtown Nature Reserve. Sandymount beach, all walking distance. Great for walking. Right around the corner to the apartment is the Oarsman pub which is great for food and sports bar, the Yacht club and Sally's also another great local. There is a laundry and dry cleaner service, local shops eg. Pharmacist, Ferera Fish and Chip shop excellent I might add!. Then heading left after the bridge 5 minutes up South Lotts Road, you have Junior's, Paulie's, The Chop House and pubs Slattery's, The Bath, Beggar's Bush. Going to town via Pearse Street, instead of taking a left onto South Lotts Road, (which is where Air BNB headquarters are now, very cool building and look to it's working environment). On Pearse St, you have the Grand Canal dock area with Bord Gais theatre, many bars the Marker Hotel , Ely Restaurant.
Aviva stadium is at your doorstep. RDS is 25/30 minute walk. Merion Square, The National Gallery and The Dail (Government office) are all very accessible by walking. One can register for Dublin bikes ((website hidden)) if you like cycling! There is a bike stop on the corner of Pearse St in conjunction with South Lotts Road.
My space is easy and relaxing environment, very accessible to town and nice and easy neighbourhood if you prefer to be in a quieter part of town. Close to 3 Arena, (Aircoach bus stop) from and to the airport, Aviva stadium for a game . The apartment is rented as a one bedroom apartment but can accommodate up to four people by providing a double blow up mattress which is very comfortable and linens etc provided. There is an additional fee for extra people.

Balcony area nice and easy weather permitting etc. 2 bathrooms and comfy living environment. The court yard is also available for people to sit on the grass if they would like to.
Interaction with Guests
As much as they would like. If I can advise on any things of interest whilst in Dublin or travelling around the country. I am available any time to talk with them.
It is a great neighbourhood for local attraction, walking, eating, socialising and easy travelling into town either by walking or taking local transport bus or luas! The luas is across the east toll bridge. This is situated between the 3 arena venue and the Gibson hotel which is lovely place to sit and enjoy the local roof top view. There is a cinema also next to the Gibson, which is handy if you do not want to head into town. Low price tickets from Monday to Thursday! Ringsend/irishtown is an old part of Dublin and it is very safe.
Walking is easy, Buses run regularly into town 1 and 77, then by walking 10 minutes on Charlotte quay there is a 50 56a 77 and 77a. 5 bus stops and you in town ! The luas is over by the Gibson Hotel and 3G arena another option to get into town and go to the Collins Barracks museum.
Other Things to Note
Aviva stadium is worth a look . A easy view is on the bridge of Ringsend, interesting architecture in the area, the Gasworks building, the Canal is beautiful for walks and picnics. The beach is close by, Irishtown nature reserve. Airbnb building is right on the corner of South Lotts road and Ringsend. Very cool building, (website hidden) headquarters, Barrow St old U2 recording studios. Odlums Flour building super old building (not in use now) you have the Vilking Splash tour that takes in this area on its tour - great fun!
Smoking is permitted out on the balcony. Turn off the lights when leaving. Not to slam front door as I have plates on the walls, taking care to open and close door and windows. If something gets broken or damaged please do let me know! To lock the door when leaving it has a double lock. The guests should have respect for the property and its contents - nothing it too precious in the apartment apart from the art and plates on the walls. If when finished with the shower if one could give a quick wipe to wipe water from walls etc just to prevent collection on water in the rubber seal which over time discolors shower and grouting. Only if one thinks to do it....! thank you in advance...... And of course to enjoy the neighbourhood! If one has a pet we can discuss .
Anne Marie's apartment in Dublin was a nice, quiet flat right above a grocery store and within walking distance from the city centre. We had a lovely stay in her comfortable bed and were able to cook a full dinner in the well-stocked kitchen. Anne Maria met us right when we got in so we didn't have to wait at all, which was very convenient after a long day of traveling. She gave us recommendations on restaurants and places to see around the city. She also pointed out helpful tips about navigating and being comfortable in her apartment. Overall we had a great stay in Dublin!
Staying at this listing was as expected and much much more. The location is very good, with easy bus connection and at a comfortable and pleasant walking distance from the Luas. The house is absolutely precious, fitted with a fully equipped kitchen, a gorgeous balcony to enjoy breakfast in, all in a lovely and quiet area of the city with a nice park right near by, as well as several excellent restaurants, and a small shopping center.
The host left little to be desired, as she welcomed us offering immediate hospitality in the form of sparkling water, and engaging in a very lively chit-chat sprinkled with useful information about the house, the area, suggestions on things to do and places to visit, handing us maps of the city, and providing clear instructions to make ourselves home. And we did. And it was wonderful.
Thank you so so much Avital for your lovely detailed experience of my home in what is and offers and the neighbourhood. I am glad you and Ittay enjoyed it and felt at home, as you both sparkle! I wish you both the best and perhaps we may meet again in the future. Warm regards, Anne Marie ...have a good time all of the time..!
Anne Marie was a wonderful host! Very helpful with information on the surrounding area and how to get around. The listing is also great as well! Lots of natural light if you want it, and a lot of space to enjoy. The location is also incredibly convenient, especially if you're traveling light! Plenty of places to retrieve supplies within walking distance. Overall wonderful spot!
Joey, thank you so much for your elegant review. It is pleasure to host when people enjoy and feel at home in home as it is a special environment. I am delighted you enjoyed the neighborhood and what is offers as it pretty cool! Best wishes Anne Marie ..have a good time all of the time..!
We stayed at Anne Maries on the 19 - 21 June. We had a massively positive experience. The flat was immaculately presented and very very comfortable. As a host Anne Marie couldn't have done more. We arrived late on the Friday evening and she waited for us. Guided our somewhat inept taxi driver and even made sure there was plenty of tea and coffee. And provided lots of bits we didn't even think about for our stay. Anne Marie really pulled out the stops and was very cool when I asked for coca cola to be in when we were and refused money for it. We will certainly be back to stay. Thank you Anne Marie. Rachael, Jim, Hannah and Sarah.
Rachel thank you so so much for you beautiful review. It really is lovely to hear such. I am so delighted also to hear you all enjoyed my home and you would be delighted to return. A fantastic experience. Anne Marie is a great host. Besides her home being fully equipped and clean she reached out multiple times during my stay to see if I needed anything. Her home is near many great resturants and pubs. I would recommend the location!
Michael, thank you very much for your lovely review. yes I totally agree the photographs need to be updated for sure .... it is on my to do list...............Best wishes...Anne Marie ...have a good time all of the time............you are welcome anytime....................
Anne Marie is a warm host and very easy to communicate with. It was lovely to meet her. The flat is cute, clean, and in a nice quiet building. The location is convenient--a few shops nearby and a very safe 20 min walk to Temple Bar. I loved all the personal touches in the flat and it made my stay very comfortable.
Anne Marie was a perfect host. Communication was always very quick from the start, she has a well filled out listing decription and profile which really allows you to get a feel for her and for the space.
The listing itself is in a great location and the photos don't do it justice! It's a cool apartment with lots of personal touches, it really feels like someone's home.
It's a small one bedroom place so it's not suitable for a big crowd but if you're a couple or small group of friends the place is perfect.
We were left completly to ourselves for the weekend but AM was only a message away when we needed something.
All in all it was a perfect Airbnb experience. If you're looking at Anne Marie's listing wondering whether you should book or not then go for it.
