Linda's place is charming, comfy and smack dab in the middle of all Hollywood has to offer. Communication was easy breezy and I would most definitely stay here again.
Linda was a great host! She always responded quickly and made sure I had everything I needed. The free brekkie (granola and banana bread) was also an added plus! Will definitely stay with Linda again!
Perfect! Perfect location in a very distinctive, historic old Hollywood neighborhood. The apartment was filled with light and had so much character. Linda is great--communicative, welcoming, and very interesting. I would stay with her again in a heartbeat.
Tucked away, but still within walking distance to Hollywood Blvd, Linda's place was a great spot for my stay in L.A. She was welcoming and the guesthouse was nice (Note: There is no direct door from outside to the guesthouse; you just have to step in her art studio to access it though). Linda made delicious banana nut bread and left drinks and snacks for me to enjoy in the mini fridge! The sunroom/living room was perfect. The A/C ran cold on the hot days I was there (thank goodness), but I imagine breeze through those big windows is even better. The neighborhood is nice, but the streets are tight. So if you don't have to have a car, just use Uber. There was an issue with the Internet, but Linda was on it, getting it fixed before I even needed to ask about it. Thanks Linda!
Staying at Linda's place was great! When I say it is the perfect location it is literally the perfect location. My boyfriend and I went to LA to be tourist and explore. We rented a car and every where we wanted to go was a 10-15 minute drive (Besides the beaches & airport which were a 30ish minute drive). The entire time there we felt like we were staying with a friend. The apartment was safe and comfortable. Linda had a fridge with drinks and banana bread ready for us which was so appreciated! She lives on a quiet street and has a gorgeous backyard. We were really thankful for her driveway! Everything was great and I would stay there again!
We had a lovely stay at Linda's home in the hills. She was a wonderful host and the location was perfect - quick and easy access to all of Hollywood but tucked away in the hills where all was peaceful and quiet.
This was our second stay with Linda and reconfirmed that when we are in Los Angeles we would never stay anywhere else. The apartment is comfortable and homey, the neighborhood is coo, and friendly and Linda is an exceptional host who has become a dear friend! We miss you already, Linda!

About the Host, Linda
I have been living in Hollywood for 35 years. Most of those years I have spent working in the film business as a production designer, set decorator, often times doing location scouting. Being in the business has given me the chance to explore LA and get to know many neighborhoods not on the beaten path.
I have currently gotten back into doing my own artwork. I am a painter and collage artist. I have been showing my work in Los Angeles.
I love traveling and I'm pretty adventurous. My daughter and I usually spend summers in Italy (the same place for 10 years) where I have found an artist and "foodie" community. I have traveled to India (several times), Malaysia, Australia, Turkey, Russia and around the US and Europe.
I am a cook and enjoy having dinner parties an entertaining.I love the choice of ethnic restaurants in LA and can direct you anywhere you might want to go. I have a passion for decorating, color and off beat style.
I am thrilled to have become an airbnb host. I take great pride in hosting and continually strive to make my listing a special experience for my guests. Living on the premises I am able to interact with my guests, only if they wish, and help them to experience LA as a local. Hosting has given me the opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world.
