We had a wonderful time. Linda is very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. She had homemade banana bread, a bottle of wine and several goodies in the fridge!
We LOVED her outdoor patios! The upper patio has a hammock and my husband and I parked ourselves on it and just talked and enjoyed the view and weather!
The accommodations were comfortable. The queen size bed and pillows were lovely. The windows were my favorite part! Big, bright I can't say enough about the place! Thank you Linda, we will be back! Oh! The parking spot is great! No hunting for a place to park!
We had a wonderful stay at Linda's place. The location cannot be beat! We were able to walk to the Hollywood Bowl and so many great places in Hollywood. When we were lazy, it was a cheap Uber ride to anywhere we needed to go. Linda made sure we had anything we needed and even offered to pull our car out of the steep driveway for us! My only regret is that our stay was not a bit longer and the temperatures a bit cooler so we could have explored this unique and gorgeous neighborhood. I would definitely come back if we needed a comfortable place to stay in Hollywood. Thank you Linda!
We were welcomed by Linda to a very eclectic studio setting. The mini fridge was already stocked with bottled water, yogurt and Linda's homemade banana bread. The apartment was clean and comfortable with an artistic flair. The location is in a historic and accessible part of Hollywood Hills. We had a great time and will stay here whenever we visit LA.
The beautiful rooms look just like the photos. Linda made us feel so welcome with the special treats--wine, banana bread, water, and other breakfast foods. The location is wonderful in the hills and an easy walk or drive to everything. This could be our best airbnb experience yet! Thank you, Linda!
Wonderful place to stay in L.A.!! The house is really cute e clean and Linda and her daughter are so nice and friendly!!
Siamo stati benissimo!
We really enjoy our stay. The house is perfect, clean, cozy and quiet. Linda is so kind and helpfull. We will never forget her.
July 24-26. My son (23) and I came to LA for a baseball weekend but he wanted to stay in Hollywood. It was ourfirst AirBnB experience and itwas perfect. Linda's studio was exactly as advertised. I slept in a very comfortable bed while my son slept great on the oversized couch. Linda had things ready upon our early arrival including snacks and drinks in the fridge plus a nice bottle of wine. She could not have been more hospitable. Her multi-level back patio was a great place to relax day or night. Although we were walking distance to Hollywood and Sunset Blvd and did make the walk down to check it out, it was not near as cool as a simple self guided walk through this wonderful and historic neighborhood. Linda provided information for the walk and it was awesome. We also enjoyed the walking tour of the neighborhood as detailed in information Linda provided. We drove to a few places like Santa Monica Pier, Beverly Hills and Griffith Observatory, hanging in the neighborhood was just as nice. A nice (albeit uphill most the way) walk to Yamashiro Restaurant for dinner wrapped up our weekend with some amazing views and great food. My only regret is that we did not have more time to simply sit and visit with Linda and Olivia.
Guess we will save that for next time!

About the Host, Linda
I have been living in Hollywood for 35 years. Most of those years I have spent working in the film business as a production designer, set decorator, often times doing location scouting. Being in the business has given me the chance to explore LA and get to know many neighborhoods not on the beaten path.
I have currently gotten back into doing my own artwork. I am a painter and collage artist. I have been showing my work in Los Angeles.
I love traveling and I'm pretty adventurous. My daughter and I usually spend summers in Italy (the same place for 10 years) where I have found an artist and "foodie" community. I have traveled to India (several times), Malaysia, Australia, Turkey, Russia and around the US and Europe.
I am a cook and enjoy having dinner parties an entertaining.I love the choice of ethnic restaurants in LA and can direct you anywhere you might want to go. I have a passion for decorating, color and off beat style.
I am thrilled to have become an airbnb host. I take great pride in hosting and continually strive to make my listing a special experience for my guests. Living on the premises I am able to interact with my guests, only if they wish, and help them to experience LA as a local. Hosting has given me the opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world.
