I have lived in LA for 35 years working in the movie business as an location scout art director, and decorator. I know the city very well and can direct you to almost anything you want. Great restaurants, interesting ethnic neighborhoods, galleries and museums, interesting hikes, and all kinds of shopping opportunities.

I am looking forward to meeting you and making your stay comfortable.

Great walking neighborhood to explore. Hidden steps at the end of the street. 3 blocks steep. Walk streets in the hills.

High Tower Elevator at the end of the street (made famous by Raymond Chandler and the movie "The Long Goodbye") is a 5 story campanile style tower, single open cab elevator built in the 1920's in Bolognese style to take people up the hill to their houses . Now a popular movie shoot location.
Close to Griffith Park. Walk to Runyon Canyon. Lots of great hiking trails.

An old Hollywood neighborhood built in the 1920's. The architectural style is mainly Spanish or Mediterranean with lovely winding streets, walk streets and secret steps. Very secluded but a few short blocks away from all the Hollywood Main Attractions.

I have been living in Hollywood for 35 years. Most of those years I have spent working in the film business as a production designer, set decorator, often times doing location scouting. Being in the business has given me the chance to explore LA and get to know many neighborhoods not on the beaten path.

I have currently gotten back into doing my own artwork. I am a painter and collage artist. I have been showing my work in Los Angeles.

I love traveling and I'm pretty adventurous. My daughter and I usually spend summers in Italy (the same place for 10 years) where I have found an artist and "foodie" community. I have traveled to India (several times), Malaysia, Australia, Turkey, Russia and around the US and Europe.

I am a cook and enjoy having dinner parties an entertaining.I love the choice of ethnic restaurants in LA and can direct you anywhere you might want to go. I have a passion for decorating, color and off beat style.

I am thrilled to have become an airbnb host. I take great pride in hosting and continually strive to make my listing a special experience for my guests. Living on the premises I am able to interact with my guests, only if they wish, and help them to experience LA as a local. Hosting has given me the opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world.
