Very nice apartment: there is everything you might need - washing machine, hair dryer, refrigerator, iron, fan, comfy beds, and nice view from the roof :) The area is good as well - the main walking street is just a 5-min walk, lots of cafes and restaurants are very close to the apartment. Good that there are concierges day and night, helps to feel safe. Patricia has been very helpful: we found out that the iron left much to be desired after previous visitors, I sent a message to Patricia - next day we got a brand new iron! Patricia is a very good host, I will recommend to stay at her place.

I would highly recommend staying here if you are considering visiting Mexico City. Patricia and Isaac were very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is beautiful and centrally located.

This was an ideal apartment for my friend and I who wanted our own bedroom. The fact that it has 2 restrooms is an added bonus. From my very first email to Paty, I knew that she was going to be a great hostess! She has a wealth of knowledge of the city and was super flexible with us when we wanted to leave our bags early and pick them up after check-out time. The apartment is very clean, has great water pressure and tons of hot water. The location is perfect as it is centrally located in the Centro. It is walking distance to Centro Histórico attractions, public transportation, and tons of shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again. ¡Gracias Paty!

Great location, nice apartment, excellent hostess! Patricia was very responsive, super helpful and very accomodating. She helped rent and return a wheelchair for my mom, which was super helpful. Apartment is very close to zocolo and full views of the city from the terrace.

The apartment is a good little apartment. It has everything you need to spend a few days in Mexico City. Please ensure you have access to a phone to call when you arrive as the door man to the building wouldn't allow access and my in-laws had no way of contacting the host. They had to stand on the corner for over 2 hours with their luggage until someone helped them call the host. I wouldn't stay in this part of the city if I had children. It's not the best part of the city to be walking around after 8pm. It is close to the metro but the street that it's on is deserted and the little park on the corner has a few unsavoury people loitering around and can get pretty filthy late in the evening. Good hot water. Showers needed to use plunger and then were fine. Very noisy at the moment due to night time roadworks and the smell of the tarring of the streets is pretty powerful and toxic, even came through with the windows closed. Internet kept dropping out. Would go several hours without internet. Had to keep resetting the router. Overall it's a good little place to shower and make breakfast but would look for something else for when we return to Mexico City.

Response from Patricia:
Hello Wanda. I was quite surprised by your comments. Let's see: 1-You say you family in law had to stand for 2 hours on the corner. I think you've been misinformed by your mother in law. Their plane arrive at 12:10 pm, they were calling me at 14:42, one block away from the condo. The guests take in average 2 hours between landing and arrival to the department. So it's absolutely impossible they had been waiting 2 hours outside. 2- I was reachable on my phone and Isaac were at the condo. 3- The problem is that your mother in law didnt have the detailled instructions I send you to get to the condo. You say that the security man wouldnt let them in. For obvious security reasons, they dont let enter nobody if they dont indicate the condo. When we have guests, security men call us with their phone. And your family didnt know which condo they had to go because o you didnt give them the informations I send you or they forgot it. I'm sorry about that. And it's not a language problem as you in law are from Colombia and speak spanish. 3-About Wifi, I'm sorry if the internet dropped out. You should have notify me. In case of problem, I always attend and go to the condo to fix it. Problems sometimes happen and we are here to fix them. But for that, we have to be informed.

We loved our stay at Patricia's place. The location is fantastic, it felt super safe with great security, parking was helpful, and the rooftop guide to the city from Patricia was awesome.

Isaac was at the building waiting for us when we arrived from the airport by taxi, very late at night. The taxi was a set 225 pesos from the airport, about $11 US. He gave us a tour of the apartment, explained the metro card and the trash sorting, took us to the rooftop and showed us the city. Patricia left us some wonderful Mexican treats, fruit, empenadas, and a couple of beers! The sweet bread was great for breakfast on our first morning. This touch of food and drink is so thoughtful. There is also a washer and dryer - we didn't use them since our stay was short, but having the choice is wonderful. The apartment is a great location-you can walk out the door to many shops, restaurants, museums, and we felt safe. We loved the space of the apartment and having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for privacy. The wifi was strong and reliable. An iron and hair dryer was provided. We used the subway to travel to Xochimilco and the Basilica of Our Lady Guadalupe, the further sites, and also around the city. It was easy and super cheap, about 25 cents in US dollars per ride. We rode the subway everywhere - we loaded 50 pesos (about 2.50USD) on the metro card and just swiped it twice to get 2 of us through. We highly recommend the restaurant El Cardenal about a block from Zocalo Plaza. It was a highlight. Leaving to go back to the airport, we just waved down a taxi in front of the building, asked the driver how much, and he said 120 pesos, about $6 US. I traveled with a friend, and neither of us speak Spanish, which was a challenge. We played a lot of charades, but the citizens were so kind. We got lots of smiles, and "welcome to Mexico City." What a wonderful city! Thank you, Patricia, and Isaac!
