Due South is a stunningly unique, architecturally designed, open planned, split/tri level studio on the very top of Weedon Hill. Situated within Ark of Denmark, a beautiful 2 acre property, ensconced in a natural Australian bush setting, with majestic Karri trees & magnificent granite boulders.

With walls made of glass and elevated high into the surrounding trees, feel one with nature, watch & listen to the array of birdlife with glimpses of Wilson Inlet. A truely relaxing & peaceful getaway.

The space
Enjoy the true essence of Denmark in Due South, a romantic one bed open plan, split tri level apartment, which is cosy & warm with a woodfire & reverse cycle air-conditioning.

We are located only 3km from town centre, however feels like you are miles away.

Due South is on the lower level of the main house. Although owners live up stairs, Due South is very private with its own entry.

Walk between two massive boulders into Due South via the lovely wooden & glass ornate doors & be mesmerised by the immensely huge cathedral ceilings with massive tree trunks peeking through the ceiling. Together with the surrounding walls made of glass, the views of trees & inlet glimpses are a sight to behold. Feel the floor under your feet transition from wood to stone on your way to the large outdoor decking where your senses will be on definite overload. Hear sounds of the ocean & our amazing birdlife, see inlet glimpses through Weedon Hill's famous Karri trees.

The first level of Due South is a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, 2 steps down to sunken dining area with a large dining table made of tree trunk and glass top, another 3 steps down brings you into the lounge and bedroom in an open plan area with huge glass walls and cosy wood-fire. The separate bathroom has a claw-foot bath with shower, plus a boulder peeking through the wall.

We are only 3kms from the town of Denmark & only a short 5 min drive to our local beach.

Please note that due to steep stairs, shower in deep bath & uneven grounds outdoors, this property may not be suitable for the elderly or those with mobility issues.

Adults only, no children including infants.

BOOKING RESTRICTIONS:
Check-ins & check-outs will not be permitted on Good Friday, Easter Monday, 23rd, 24th, 25th or 26th December ***

Pet Terms & Conditions:
* DOGS ARE TO BE ADVISED & APPROVED BY ARK OF DENMARK OWNERS.
* Dogs ONLY are allowed & are to be of a quiet nature and it is the owners responsibility to keep noise to a minimum at all times. Constant barking and/or howling is not acceptable.
* Strictly No Puppies - dogs must be at least 2 years old & fully house trained.
* Maximum of two dogs only.
* You agree to be responsible for your dog/s during the period of your stay.
* You will be responsible for the management of your pets waste. Where possible it is to be removed and disposed of in an appropriate manner.
* Dogs with fleas are not welcome. Please ensure your dogs are treated if they are prone to fleas.
* Dogs are not permitted to sit or sleep on any furniture or beds during your stay.
* Please bring your clean dog sheets pets bedding, bowls etc.
* DOGS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT ALONE INSIDE AT ANY TIME.
* Dogs are to be on a leash at all times when taken outside the accommodation. There are no fences,
* An added pet fee of $55 applies.
* You will be required to pay for any incidental damage or excessive cleaning costs.

Guest access
This apartment is the lower level of the owner's house on The Ark property. Guests however have their own access & it is fully separate, private & self catered.

PETS ALLOWED WITH OWNERS CONSENT. Pet Policy & Surcharge applies.

Please note that this property may not be suitable for elderly or those with mobility issues due to stairs & deep bath (shower).

There is only one queen size bed - we do not have the facility to split or add an extra bed.
