Very spacious independent room just 2 blocks away from the L train station Wilson avenue
The room has a full size bedroom and a leather couch that can be open in a nice size bed.
The room has a little refrigerator and there is a kitchen available
I am renting a large and independent room in Bushwick! The room has his own entrance and a semi private bathroom that will be shared with only another person who lives in the same floor in the building! There is a little refrigerator coffee machine but unfortunately no kitchen available.
The room is perfect to sleep up to 4 person cause there is a full size bed and a very nice futon leather couch! The bathroom is semi private just outside the room.
The room is just renovated with a brand new ceramic floor (no bed bugs risk) two large windows AC, a closet and still plenty of space!
The neighborhood is quiet and safe the condo is located just in front of a firefighter station just two blocks away from the L train and the J train. You are at 10 min from Bedford avenue (great Williamsburg area with trendy restaurants, clubs, pubs and vintage store's) and 15min from Manhattan.
The guests will have access to their room and their bathroom

I will be available all the time by mail and by phone (I don't live there anymore) the landlord of the building (a friend of mine)will be living next door and available for any emergency (keys lost, technical problems in the room or bathroom)
The subway is just 2 blocks away and is super convenient to go to Manhattan and from/to the major airport jfk the apartment is also very close to Laguardia airport
We never met Margarita but she would reply my texts immediately, so we didn't have any problem getting the keys of the apartment. The neighborhood seemed safe. The apt was near a subway station, 15-20 min to Manhattan. The bathroom was clean when we arrived but we had to buy toilet paper. We never had to share it with other people. The kitchen wasn't available but we had a mini fridge in the room. A coffee machine would have been great (as a suggestion for the owner, consider adding one :) ). The stairs that lead to the room are really dirty, but the room was fine. It is small, but economical. It is a good option if you're staying for a few nights and do not want to spend a lot of money.
The room was sunny, quite clean and quite spacious. You can expect it to be more or less what you can get for that price. Just one thing for precision's sake: the bathroom is not private but it can happen you must share it with the other room's occupants. There's a kitchen and it is working, but there are no table or chairs to eat in it. It is in the basement and the room is on third floor. As for the neighbourhood, there you can easily find places where to eat.
Good place, just 30' from center by metro (Wilson metro station just 2' by walking).
Suitable place to stay in NYC if you're looking for a cheap room just to sleep in. Good connections to Manhattan and rest of Brooklyn. However, the room and bathroom were not as clean as promised, sometimes it was quite noisy. The welcome was a bit difficult (nobody answered the door bell or the phone), and we don't know if the kitchen exists, as nobody was there to show us around. Also, you should bring your own sheets and blankets (not so clean), especially when you are more than 2.
The neighborhood is ok, nice deli very close.
Margarita is a good person. Not safe street. A group of man are fighting in the street. My son was very scared.
I feel terrible that you and your son felt this way in the neighborhood. NYC can be city full of adventures as well as unpleasant situations that can occur in any given neighborhood. These are moments that can also come to the territory. Hopefully next time you will have not have to encounter this situation , just remember is NYC...
Well, as a first time user of Airbnb I sadly say I was greatly disappointed. The young man that led us in the bldg. to the room was very pleasant. However, the room was hot. (Window AC was off) the bed was sloppily made with uncoordinated old looking sheets & the pillows looked like they were 100 years old. The spare sheets for the sofa that converts to a bed were thrown in a box in the closet. An hour in, while sitting on the bed trying to be comfortable waiting for AC to work miracles...I starting itching from bites from an unknown source (my guess...bed bugs ) ...needless to say I left the keys in the room shut the door behind me & text the owner that I couldn't stay there. Ms. Gala immediately asked why & was grateful for the feedback . The End

I am a New York City native currently leaving in Brooklyn. I have Doctor's Degree Biology and Chemistry which has been my passion since I was a little girl. I enjoyed the neighborhood with the variety of eateries, events , arts and hip intelligent young adults who live in the area. I love to exercise, run and bike across the bridge to Manhattan. This apartment has been in my family for nearly 30 years and feel very happy to host respectful people that can take care of my home as if is theirs! Recently my son and his wife have been taking care of the place.
