We had a fantastic stay at South Lodge over Christmas. Darren was a great host and was there to meet us and show us around and always responded to texts when we needed advice. The apartment was fantastic and better then the pictures on the web site. We loved staying in Ham as have family close by, it was also brilliant being so close to Richmond Park. The New Inn next door is also a good local.
We will definitely be back to stay.
Darren very kindly allowed us to arrive a little early and was very welcoming. The apartment is in a great location to explore with children and perfect for trips into Richmond/Kingston and London. Despite being on the other side of the world during our stay we were very impressed with his prompt response to our communications when we had some questions. A beautiful apartment and would definitely recommend.
A beautiful apartment in a great location and fantastic value. We had a really lovely stay. Darren was very helpful and welcoming. We would stay again next time we are visiting Richmond.
We loved our stay at Darren's place it was exactly like the pictures, didn't disappoint. Darren met us at the apartment and showed us through the place he was very kind to provide us with a starter/breakfast pack as we had travelled a distance. We hope to stay there again in the near future.
Darren very thoughtfully left some essentials for us (bread, eggs etc). Even though he was travelling he stayed in frequent contact for any queries we had. The apartment is large, characterful and well located for the Richmond/Kingston areas. It certainly has a "wow" factor! We enjoyed our stay there.
Thank you very much Darrren. Everything was great - communication and responses, apartments are exactly the same as described and pictured, comfy, clean and quiet. Very happy!
Owner of the apartment I spent many happy years here before relocating back to Notting Hill this Summer. I can't quite bring myself to sell the property and am sad to see it sitting empty and not giving someone else some of the fun times I shared with it - so it's up for rent on AirBnB !
I would be your personal point of contact for apartment access and any emergencies and so you will probably be pleased to know I am a sane, normal, chap and father of two rather lovely young people so very child friendly (as is the apartment).
You will have my mobile number of course and I live 30 minutes away so am available almost immediately if anything comes up.
I love art and furniture and whilst a lot of that has moved with me a lot has remained. The apartment is to my style which might not be everyone's but at least it has a personality ! If you like Mid Century Modern, B&B Italia and Vintage Italian glass then this is the place for you.
