Wonderful stay at Margaret's place ! She was very friendly and helpful. Great way to learn more about Dublin and Ireland. Very quiet house, well located, near bus stop, and comfortable bed, I slept like a baby. I really felt at home. Thank you Margaret !
Margaret is a delight. The room was very comfortable and Margaret with very helpful in making my visit productive.
Margaret is a wonderful hostess and her home, in a quiet neighborhood just south of the city center, is charming and very comfortable -- her garden was beautiful! Margaret went out of her way to help me find information regarding tourist sites, events, and transportation -- far beyond what might be expected. I also loved meeting her friends, who likewise went out of their way to be welcoming. I had a fabulous experience overall at Margaret's -- and her breakfast was plentiful!
My sister and I ventured to Dublin for the St. Patrick's day festivities, and we're so lucky to have stayed with Margaret at her enchanting home in the neighborhood of Rathmines.
Only a short bus ride into the city center (or if you enjoy walking you most certainly can! We did it many times and takes only 20-30 minutes) and in a safe and quiet part of Dublin, Margaret's estate is the ideal place to call home for your Dublin stay.
Our room was exactly as pictured on the website - warm, inviting, and spacious. The bed was comfortable and was equipped with a heated blanket as it was quite chilly in March.
Each morning we would wake up to a table set with a continental breakfast, and ate peacefully and comfortably in her grand dinning room. If we were lucky, Margaret would join us for breakfast and be the most incredible help to our daily plans.
Margaret is kind, eager to help, extremely knowledgeable, and we are proud to say like family now. If ever we are to travel back to Dublin, there is no doubt we will be staying with Margaret at her charming estate.
Also, her dog is the sweetest!
Margaret is a wonderful host with charming character. She welcomed me and took the time to introduce me to the neighborhood.
The house is classic period; nicely decorated with ad-hoc antique furniture. The bedroom is very large and quiet.
Her house is located in the heart of Rahtmines next to restaurants, cinemas and various facilities.
A must when visiting Dublin !
I spent three nights in Margaret's place and everything was very good. The entire house has a nice feeling and the room was big and well presented. I really enjoyed the time and if I will be back in Dublin, I will contact Margaret again.
