The Neighborhood

We are 2 min. walking distance from main shopping street (Kıbrıs Şehitleri Caddesi) in Alsancak and 5 min. from seaside (Kordon). Our house is situated in a very lively neighbourhood at the heart of the city; very close to bar streets, nice fish restaurants, cafes and supermarket. We can also give you tips about where to eat good and cheap food. Every Sunday there is local market close to our street where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and delicious cheese directly from local producers. It is very easy to access to public transportation; just 5 minutes from bus station, 10 minutes from Alsancak ferry port and 5 minutes walking distance to Alsancak train station and IZBAN subway station which you can reach the Airport within 40 minutes.

Getting around

We are a young couple at the age of 30. We speak fluent English and German. We are living at the upest story and most of the time at least one of us will be around, so you can ask if you need something.

Check In
  • Ezgi and her husband were so very kind to me. I was very sad I couldn't stay longer. I loved my short time with them. Their house is beautiful and so nice.

  • Ezgi was a great host. She showed us the best places to have dinner. She even came to the station to buy us a ticket. The place is great to have a rest in this crowdy city. They restored the house we passion and took care about details. Also the kitchen is perfect for cooking. The only disadvantage: noisy nights if you take the room facing the street, strange street but great district

  • She is a really nice and welcoming person, and you can solve any issue with her about the accommodation. I had many problems because of airbnb but she still managed to keep me happy.

    Thank you!

  • Thank You for all. You helped us a lot with finding Good Food and get along in the City. Great house, nice and clean.

  • It is a beautiful house right in the centre of Alsancak, an area with many bars, restaurants, shops and clubs. We were a group of 7 people and really enjoyed our stay. Ezgi was very nice and helpful, showed us around in the area and made sure we had a pleasant stay. There are 6 rooms which may also be booked separately, so in case you are interested in renting a house exclusively for your own group of people, you should check back with the landlady.

  • I stayed in the apartment for 3 days and loved it! It is very convenient and feels much bigger then it actually is! It is very close to the train station, Alsancak centre area and the major sights. I walked everywhere and enjoyed it. Will definitely stay again!

  • Ezgi's home worked out extraordinarily well. Her cool home with relaxing patio is situated in Alsancak, the most fun part of town. The rooms have comfortable beds and a comfy chair for relaxing.

Not only did Ezgi make a breakfast, but she also gave a tour of her neighborhood and helped me get a haircut from the local barber and woke up at 5am to ensure that the taxi she ordered to take me to the airport did so.

  • Ezgi and Emmanuel were very kind and helpful hosts- they really went beyond to help us out! Ezgi helped us book train tickets and get discounts, advised on restaurants, etc. They have a gorgeous house that is very newly renovated and comfortable. The neighbourhood is ideal as it is very close to the sea, the train station, and plenty of nice restaurants.
We would also strongly recommend this location for those who want to visit Ephesus- it was an easy day trip from this location.
Thanks to Ezgi and Emmanuel for their hospitality, we really loved our stay in Izmir!
