Relax by the private pool and enjoy this mid-century oasis located near the fabulous Palm Springs Uptown Design district-but really there's no reason to leave the house. This classic Alexander is updated for a modern lifestyle with reverence for Bill Krisel's original design. We call our style "earthy modern" with influence from Charles and Ray Eames California residence, and a Scandinavian-inspired palate of pale neutrals and wood textures. The kitchen features Heath tile, Terrazzo counter tops, and mountain views. An infrared gas grill is ready for your poolside BBQ. Enjoy meals from the vintage Cherner dining chairs with walls of glass overlooking the sparkling pool. The open floorplan lounge room provides relaxed viewing of the 46" LCD TV with HD satellite package. There's comfy beds in all three bedrooms with memory foam mattresses, cotton and Marimekko bedding. The master has a king and it's own bath, the middle bedroom a queen, and the third has two twins both with a shared main bath. The main bathroom is spa style with Heath tile, Terrazzo floors and custom built cabinetry made to emulate the original design. Refinished concrete floors run throughout. If you choose to heat the pool, it will be warmed for your arrival. Free WiFi is provided. Come enjoy the historic Racquet Club Estates neighborhood located near the Uptown Design District shops and restaurants.
The pool is private and you may even find some pool toys in the garage.

I live in Los Angeles but spend as much time as I can escaping to the desert. It satisfies my interest in architecture and design as well as my appreciation of a good book and a poolside chaise longue.
