About this listing
The flat is in a build of 1400. I like all the old architectural elements and the ambiance.
I like San Gallo street: bakery, greengrocer, dairy, winery, laundrette, restaurant "Tito"(!!!) and Vegan , pizzeria "Pulcinella" are all downstairs.
It is a cute and cozy apartment located in the centre of Florence, on the first floor of an ancient building with wooden ceiling and parquet flooring.
There are two bedrooms with two beds each, and windows facing private couryeards. Two bathrooms, a very bright living room with a sofa bed and a dining table perfect for enjoying italian cuisine and sipping on Chianti wine! The kitchen is equipped with oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and for those who don't like espressos there is an american coffee maker as well!
Wi fi is also available along with air conditioning and a wonderful piano!
The apartment is in a very quiet area of the city but with plenty of restaurants (vegan and vegetarian too as well as more traditional tuscan ones) and a very close supermarket. You will be 5 minutes away from the Duomo, San Marco square (with Galleria dell' Accademia and the David of Michelangelo) from where you can get on the main bus lines. If you are to come by car there is a parking 5 minutes away by foot.
A very special home in the very heart of Florence!
The only rule to follow is to take care of it! The house is very accurate to detail and above all full of books! I used to live in this house and I decided to leave something of me! Hope you enjoy it and have fun!
You'll have the place entirely to yourself so make yourself at home!
We mostly like the house... we came to the house in the evening... Agnese's father met us infront of the house.. He was a kind man and told us everyhing about the house... House is very close to the centre and we found everything we want in Via San Gallo... But there were too many mosquitos that really hurt us... Agnese could find a solution of this problem...And also it should be better if there is an AC in the small room... when it is hot, it will be a must...
Generally, thanks to Sergio( father) for helping us and a great welcome..
The space was exceptional, plenty of room for four people as advertized, beautifully and simply decorated. The neighborhood was safe and attractive and not too far to walk to major sites in Florence. Our host had provided items for typical Italian breakfasts, two nice bottles of Italian wine and was very willing to answer all of our questions upon arrival. He also picked us up from the train station and returned us to the place. While he was available, he gave us room to do as we pleased. I would go back to this place in a moment. Thank you, Sergio!
Agnese is quite friendly! The flat has a brilliant location, it's easy to take any public transportation. And there're many shops near the flat so it's convenient to shop. Although it's near shops, it's very quiet. The flat has everything we need, We really enjoy staying in this flat. If we travel here again, we will choose this lovely flat without hesitation.
The house was really great and lovely place
And the host was very kind!
My friends and I went to Florence for three nights and had an amazing time! This apartment was really well located, we didn't know much about the city and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The host was really hospitable and left fruit and water in the fridge upon our arrival and made us feel right at home! I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a nice time with friends or family in Florence!
It was absolutely great, Sergio is lovely host and person. We were there just for one day with our kids but have very good experiences :)
What a beautiful place! We were welcomed by Agnese's father, Sergio who showed us around, offered a bottle of wine and recommended so many great places to go. The apartment is big and spacious in a great location. It's a little bit out of the main area which is nice but only 5-10min walk to all the attractions. The place has so much character and couldn't recommend it highly enough!
