This newly built, very private property is only five minutes from the Sonoma Square and very close to world class wineries. We built this gorgeous 3,500 sq-ft home from ground up in 2013 with two things in mind: luxury and comfort!
Please read this about booking: From April through end of October we have a five night minimum. Occasionally, we would do four nights during October. From beginning of November until end of March, we have a four night minimum but we would consider three night rental depending on the specific weekend. During, 4th of July, labor day, christmas, thanksgiving and new years, we have a one week minimum.
Description: You will find here all top quality finishes, appliances, furniture, and amenities. Enjoy a brand new heated swimming pool and built in hot tub. Enjoy outdoor lounge areas with Sonos music systems, large teak outdoor table under a trellis with grape vines, bocce ball court, outdoor stone fire pit and more. For kids, there are endless activities including swimming pool, a giant trampoline, outdoor playground (swings, monkey bars, etc), ping pong table, biking and more.
This is the perfect location in the wine country. It is very quiet and green. This home is 2 miles east of the Sonoma Square. You have access to all top quality wineries, most of them walking distance. Ravenswood, Buena Vista Winery, Sebastiani, Barholomew, Gundlach Bundschu and other top wineries are a short walk or bike ride away. Of all wine country destinations, this location also is the closest to San Francisco, only 40 minutes away.
Enjoy a glass of Sonoma Pinot Noir on the deck, lounge by the pool, enjoy an evening with the stars in the hot tub and don’t forget to get a glass of scotch by the fire pit, all in an extremely private setting.
There is ultra fast wifi throughout the property, next to the pool, in all rooms and throughout the garden. There is also Sonos system everywhere around the property.
Unlike all the homes I personally stayed in the Sonoma Valley, this house is not built as a rental. Most rental homes in Sonoma look nice in pictures but are worn out when you visit them. They have old furniture, uncomfortable beds, dirty pools, etc (no matter how nice they look in pictures) . In contrast, this is a brand new home, built by the owners for the owners. We rent it only a fraction of the year. As such, it has all top of the line finishes, grounds, pool, furniture, kitchen, etc. The people who rented through other websites have said that this is the best house they have ever stayed in the wine country by far!
Here's the bedroom configuration:
Bedroom 1: King size bed with its own bathroom
Bedroom 2: Queen size bed, plus a bunk bed. Upper bunk is twin and lower bunk is full.
These two bedrooms above are each the size of two bedrooms, they are very big.
Bedroom 3: Queen size bed with its own dedicated bathroom.
Bedroom 4: Two twins plus a twin trundle bed. These two twins can be put together for couples
Bedroom 5: It has a brand new queen sized Room and Board sleeper. This queen size sleeper is just as comfortable (if not more comfortable) than regular beds.
Bedroom 6: This bedroom is off of the garage. It has a new queen size sleeper. But it is a bedroom without its own bathroom. Guests would need to use main house bathrooms.
The main house has four bathrooms. Two in the bedrooms and two to be shared.
The house is amazing and in a perfect location. The backyard makes the place. We had amazing weather and ate outside every day. Spent the afternoons playing bocce, and evenings in the jacuzzi. The house is well set up for four couples with lots of kids. We were twelve people (eight adults and four kids) and fit nicely. Bora was very responsive, and even gave us extra time to check out on our final day. The house was just as he described it (and more), and the fit and finish of the entire place looked more like a well-cared-for home than a rental. We definitely plan to stay again when we get back to Sonoma for wine tasting!
This is truly a beautiful house in such a convenient location to the heart of Sonoma. Bora was quick to respond to all inquiries and very easy and pleasant to work with. We had 11 people in the house and there were more than enough beds--everyone was comfortable. The open floor plan of the kitchen and living area with the spectacularly long dining table makes this house wonderful for groups or large families. A really great gem in Sonoma!
Bora's house is beautiful. It was the perfect location for our company offsite, and fit our needs flawlessly. The open floor plan of the kitchen and dining room made for a really welcoming space. The long dining table was perfect for our large group. Any question I had, Bora replied promptly and with even more advice or suggestions he thought would be helpful. Our entire group, without hesitation would recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay up in the Sonoma area. It is truly a great find.
Bora's place is amazing. The place is located near wineries and Sonoma square. The grounds is landscaped to perfection. The furniture is modern and comfortable. The kitchen has all the amenities for cooking. There is enough bedrooms and bathrooms for 10 people to stay comfortable. The hot tub, fire pit, ping pong table and bocce court added to the amazing fun experience we had during our stay. Bora was always available if we had any questions or needed help. I highly recommend Bora's place. We look forward to staying there again!!!
Bora's house in Sonoma was amazing. There was plenty of room for me and my friends as well as so much to do on his property. We were all really relaxed and didn't want to leave his property. Bora is very responsive and very easy to get in touch with as well. His home made us all very comfortable. I'll definitely look to stay there again in the future.
We recently stayed at Bora’s home in Sonoma and we were pleasantly surprised by how perfect it was for our group. It is very modest from the front. As you drive up it’s hard to image what lies within and even better behind.
The home is very modern with an open floor plan that includes vaulted ceilings, multiple TV’s, a grand piano, French style kitchen, large designer wooden table with wooden bench and fireplace. The art on the walls really added to the modern feel. All of this with a huge wall of sliding doors and windows that give you a great view of the backyard.
There are 4 large bedrooms (3 of them with large doors to the back yard) and an office along with multiple bathrooms that are equally as nice as the living area. The home had every amenity we needed from cooking utensils, to tons of towels and bedding and plenty of available closet space.
The back yard is incredible and a must see. It’s difficult to give it justice in writing. There is a dining area, a sitting area, a grill, a bocce court, a pool, play gym and rumpus room. Bora was very easy to talk with and always available by phone.
Beautiful and comfortable Sonoma home.
