This is one of the cutest houseboats you will find. She's a doll of a houseboat - really cool design elements inside and out, a comfortable rooftop deck for lake and plane watching, & beautiful woodwork and metal work. Perfect for the couple wanting a romantic few days together to kayak the lake and fulfill their houseboat dream.

Carrot is for sale!

The space
COVID19: We fully and thoroughly sterilize between every guest with bleach and sterilizing wipes on surfaces throughout the boat so please rest assured. Also, we, myself and the cleaning crew, have been hard hit by all the COVID cancellations and have dropped our prices significantly already to try and stay afloat, figuritively speaking. ;) As such, we really appreciate your business!

Renting for Summer!! :)

This houseboat is comfortable place with all you will need - for the adventurous and open eyed. See section "Other things of Note" to ensure you are fully on board with this experience. If you are, I am thrilled to have you stay on my boat. I love her and put a lot of care into owning her well.

This houseboat is an eclectic small space. Full kitchen, living space with sleeper sofa and table, bathroom with shower and toilet, wall heaters for cozy nights, 1 double size bed. Comfortably accommodates 2 people, with room for a 3rd on the main couch.

As for living on a boat, there is little like it, and I suggest you try it out. You might be looking at some shwanky pad as well, and that would be great, but this is a cool experience, a piece of Seattle history you should wear for a few days when you can. It's an opportunity to be around the mayhem that is water life during the day, and the peace and tranquility that floating can be at night.

- 1 double bed
- 1 6' sleeper sofa/day bed/couch
- 1 full size blow up mattress and sheets available
- Full kitchen (refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, coffee press, kitchen essentials)
- Heated (wall heaters)
- Full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink)
- Wireless internet (it can be spotty fyi)
- Kid friendly
- Indoor and outdoor breakfast/eating nook
- Deck and roof lounge area
- Parking out front the marina office building at a cost of $1 per hour. Weekdays, it is free before 9 am and after 4 pm. Weekends are free as well. Note: due to parking passes being taken by guests repeatedly, they are no longer available.
- Propane BBQ
- (2) kayaks - first come, first serve. No reservations.

Guest access
You will have access to the place all yourself. I will have shower items for you, towels, sheets, etc.

Access to the boat is via a self-checkin process. All access and reservation instructions will be included in the confirmation page after booking.

Other things to note
- Please understand that boats are not a house or a hotel. If you want a hotel or home experience with all its reliable ease (which we all do at times in life!) then please rent one. This is a boat however, and anyone who has owned a boat knows they are pesky and a lot of work. As such be ready for an urban adventure stay which is the fun of it anyways.
- These boats are allotted only 30 amps of electrical current by the marina docks (normal for many marinas). However for the modern technological connected and comfortable person, this is not a lot! It’s enough for sure and you will have what you need, just keep that in mind.
- The range and the auxiliary heat source require propane - extra tanks and instructions will be provided for guests to replace as needed. It is very simple. For a $20 fee, someone can arrive to change the propane. Guest must contact to arrange.
- Toilets on boats are not quite the same as a toilet on land. The human waste deposited into the boat’s toilet is collected in a waste tank. This tank is ‘pumped out’ periodically by a sewage removal boat. Please use the marina bathroom rather than the boat bathroom when possible. They are a common feature of living on a boat. It is common practice on boats to use land-based toilets as able. You will be given a key to access this bathroom and we consider both toilets as part of this boat life you will be renting.
-Wifi can be spotty and this is of our control and it's poor internet service provider controlled by the dock. Please note wifi service is not guaranteed.
- I have 2 kayaks available first come, first serve.
- There is a little cafe at the marina which does has WIFI, coffee, beer, wine. It is not open weekends.
- Parking out front the marina office building at a cost of approximately $1 per hour. Weekdays, it is free before 9 am and after 4 pm. Weekends are free as well.

Location

Westlake, Seattle, Washington

The area sits conveniently close to downtown Seattle and tucked between Fremont and Ballard. For those checking out the city, this is a great location. For those on business, also super convenient and comfortable. The closest grocery store is about a mile away in Fremont (PCC) so keep that in mind.
