Clean, charming and sunny (but tiny), studio for rental in excellent central location in the trendy section of Republique between the Marais and the romantic Canal Saint Martin. Cool restaurants, fashion boutiques and quaint bars around. Ideal for students and young honeymooners. Quiet with good energy for writers. Located next to the metro station Republique.
At the 6th floor (with elevator) of a typically Parisian building (19th century), this luminous studio is quiet and romantic. There is a comfortable fold-out double bed, a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and toilet.
Ideal for single person or couple. Has a lovely view of Parisian rooftops.
Has security door, an internet connection plus a HiFi stereo with USB connection.
New linen, duvet, blanket and towels are provided of course as well as hair dryer and iron.
The kitchen is equipped (owen/microwave, toaster, boiler and coffee machine).
Place de la Republique is a metro hub and gives you access to 5 subway lines and several buses. This place is ideal to enjoy the City of Light, her fantasies and her charm.
The owner is bilingual French / English and is available to assist in orientating you.
please note that eventhough there is a fan in the studio, it can be hot during summer as it is located under the roof.
welcome to Beaurepaire!
here are some infos that might be useful during your staying :
internet and wifi : the connection is very good. the access code is written in a little frame on the chimney.
The Bathroom :
The most important thing about the bathroom is the toilet.
Please do not put anything other than toilet paper in it. No floss, no cotton, no cigarettes no nothing.
It is an old building, with old pipes and it is a pump that is pushing all the water up into the pipes above your head and neither of us would like to see it burst! This pump is very sensitive. Please keep this in mind.
When you will use the water, you will hear the pump starting and pumping the water away regularly. it stops when you stop using the water.
If you don’t hear the pump it means there is a problem and you should call me immediately. But don’t worry it shouldn’t happen.
in the bathroom you will also find a iron, and a hairdryer.
The Kitchen :
You will find an oven that is also a microwave. A boiler, a toaster and a coffee machine. The coffee machine doesn’t need filter.
All the “how to use” are next to the oven/microwave.
If needed, you will find all the cleaning products under the tap (faucet).
The bed :
Pull the bottom of the bed outwards and it will become a double bed in 2 seconds. Then you just need to open out the mattress.
The garbage :
When you go down with the elevator, the garbage deposit area is in the little courtyard to your left. The green garbage container is for everything and yellow garbage vessel is for paper, cardboard and plastic.
The mailbox :
Should I be unable to meet with you before you check out, please leave the key inside the mailbox after leaving the studio. My mailbox is under the name “Belanger” and it is the n°39 (down on your right).
If by accident, it happens that you break or damage something, I would really appreciate you letting me know on leaving, just to avoid having the surprise and also to replace or repair it prior to the next guest arriving.
thanks a lot for your understanding.
If you feel that the studio misses something guests may need, please let me know.
Thanks a lot and enjoy a wonderful stay at rue Beaurepaire!
Ps for best bars and restaurants in the area head towards the Canal St Martin (left as you walk out the door), or left, left and first and/or second street right. Alternatively cross Place de la Republique and head towards Rue Dupetit Thouars between Rue du Temple and Boulevard du Temple and side streets in that triangle right down towards Rue de Rivoli. Lots of nice restaurants, bars and shops on rue Vieille du Temple too.
