Tiny studio in central Paris, between the Marais and Canal Saint Martin.
Please note : I would like to know a little about the people who are going to stay in this studio. As a matter of security, please fill your profile out before inquiring about a stay. I wont accept bookings from blank profiles and please, don't click on "BOOK IT" until we have had a chance to communicate first. Thanks a lot!
Clean, charming and sunny (but tiny), studio for rental in excellent central location in the trendy section of Republique between the Marais and the romantic Canal Saint Martin. Cool restaurants, fashion boutiques and quaint bars around. Ideal for students and young honeymooners. Quiet with good energy for writers. Located next to the metro station Republique.
At the 6th floor (with elevator) of a typically Parisian building (19th century), this luminous studio is quiet and romantic. There is a comfortable fold-out double bed, a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and toilet.
Ideal for single person or couple. Has a lovely view of Parisian rooftops.
Has security door, an internet connection plus a HiFi stereo with USB connection.
New linen, duvet, blanket and towels are provided of course as well as hair dryer and iron.
The kitchen is equipped (owen/microwave, toaster, boiler and coffee machine).
Place de la Republique is a metro hub and gives you access to 5 subway lines and several buses. This place is ideal to enjoy the City of Light, her fantasies and her charm.
The owner is bilingual French / English and is available to assist in orientating you.
please note that eventhough there is a fan in the studio, it can be hot during summer as it is located under the roof.
welcome to Beaurepaire!
here are some infos that might be useful during your staying :
internet and wifi : the connection is very good. the access code is written in a little frame on the chimney.
The Bathroom :
The most important thing about the bathroom is the toilet.
Please do not put anything other than toilet paper in it. No floss, no cotton, no cigarettes no nothing.
It is an old building, with old pipes and it is a pump that is pushing all the water up into the pipes above your head and neither of us would like to see it burst! This pump is very sensitive. Please keep this in mind.
When you will use the water, you will hear the pump starting and pumping the water away regularly. it stops when you stop using the water.
If you don’t hear the pump it means there is a problem and you should call me immediately. But don’t worry it shouldn’t happen.
in the bathroom you will also find a iron, and a hairdryer.
The Kitchen :
You will find an oven that is also a microwave. A boiler, a toaster and a coffee machine. The coffee machine doesn’t need filter.
All the “how to use” are next to the oven/microwave.
If needed, you will find all the cleaning products under the tap (faucet).
The bed :
Pull the bottom of the bed outwards and it will become a double bed in 2 seconds. Then you just need to open out the mattress.
The garbage :
When you go down with the elevator, the garbage deposit area is in the little courtyard to your left. The green garbage container is for everything and yellow garbage vessel is for paper, cardboard and plastic.
The mailbox :
Should I be unable to meet with you before you check out, please leave the key inside the mailbox after leaving the studio. My mailbox is under the name “Belanger” and it is the n°39 (down on your right).
If by accident, it happens that you break or damage something, I would really appreciate you letting me know on leaving, just to avoid having the surprise and also to replace or repair it prior to the next guest arriving.
thanks a lot for your understanding.
If you feel that the studio misses something guests may need, please let me know.
Thanks a lot and enjoy a wonderful stay at rue Beaurepaire!
Ps for best bars and restaurants in the area head towards the Canal St Martin (left as you walk out the door), or left, left and first and/or second street right. Alternatively cross Place de la Republique and head towards Rue Dupetit Thouars between Rue du Temple and Boulevard du Temple and side streets in that triangle right down towards Rue de Rivoli. Lots of nice restaurants, bars and shops on rue Vieille du Temple too.
Cendrillon is an incredibly nice hostess and I am glad that I stayed at her appartment for the month of january. The communication before and during my stay went excellent and was really nice. As for the apartment: It is a great place, equipped with everything you need and lovely decorated, which is why I completely felt at home. When the weather got cold, Cendrillon immediately provided the studio with a second heater so I never had to freeze. The neighbourhood is great, there are amazing places to eat, two really good bakeries/pâtisseries around the corner and the apartment is very close to one of the biggest junctions of public transport in Paris.
I can only recommend this place. Thank you a lot, Cendrillon!
Brilliant brilliant location! We walked to almost everything. The area is very lively and safe. There's a small bakery close to the house which was one of the best we tried in Paris.
Cinderella is very nice and decent. She answers promptly and thoroughly to every question.
We found maps and books about Paris there as well which was very convenient.
However, it's too tiny, it would be enough for 1 guest. But we were 2 and we had 2 big suitcases so it was very challenging if we both need to change. 80 % of the time we spent in the house, we had to bend down cuz of the ceiling. Bathroom is extremely tiny as well. It was challenging to do the simplest things without wetting your clothes and the floor.
The heater wasn't reliable at all. One night it would heat up the room very well the next day you would freeze under the old covers.
Well... We really did enjoy our stay in Paris and we were lucky to have chosen Cinderella's house only cuz of the location and cuz she's very a nice person to deal with. But it was a love and hate relationship with the house. We were thankful it's close to everything and how nice the neighbourhood is but we dreaded coming back home every night.
Cinderella gave us a very pleasant welcome when we arrived at the studio 11 pm. The small studio was perfect suitable for a couple and the surroundings are great - we regret that we didn't explore the nearby area even more: It's very charming.
We can only recommend this place.
Thank you very much for a pleasant stay :-)

Cinderella was a wonderful hostess, providing helpful information ahead of time and greeting me when I arrived to introduce the space. Merci beaucoup Cinderella!!
I was in Paris for 8 days and this studio was perfect. It was exactly as pictured, and while cozy, had everything I needed. The neighborhood was friendly, safe and had 2 excellent boulangeries within a few blocks. Access to several metro lines was about a block away, but I could also wander down to La Seine (and all there is to see there) on foot in about 20-30 minutes. Really the ideal set-up for a Paris first-timer looking to stay in an interesting neighborhood, but still have easy access to the sights!
I really appreciate all the possible details cinderella provided for us. she really knows how to help tourists in a new place. The apartment is located close to the metro, fantastic location, and the area is safe and quite. Everything is good, it's true the room is quite small, but u only come back to sleep, so it is quite ok.
Ottima accoglienza!! Appartamento veramente piccolissimo ma con tutto il necessario. Perfetto per 2 persone per qualche giorno come base d'appoggio. In posizione strategica servita tra metro, bus e taxi...perfetta! Cinderella molto carina, gentile e disponibile.
The reservation was canceled 12 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
