Interaction with Guests
I am usually present here when you stay. I will greet you upon arrival and show you around. I'm here to answer questions about restaurants, what's in town, and where to hike. I will give you lots of space and stay out of your way as much as possible. I set breakfast out for you and we can chat if you like. Or, I can let you have your breakfast privately.

In the Winter, skiing and hiking are nearby. In the Summer, there's gardens, a big lawn, the mountain and woods surrounding a very private magical place. The center of town is just a 5 minute drive. The house is also very close to Levon Helm's Barn where rambles happen on many Saturday nights.
You'll need a car to get around in Woodstock.
I have a dog that doesn't get along with other dogs.
No smoking in the house or around the house.
You are free to use the fridge and stove but please do not leave your food or drinks behind in the fridge.

That's about it!
This was our first AirBnB experience and surpassed all expectations! Lynn's home is gorgeous and relaxing, situated on the side of Overlook mountain with a babbling brook that can be heard from the bedroom window. We were able to use the entire first floor - which was spacious and well-appointed (we even had our own bathroom). Lynn provided us with a delicious breakfast and coffee that we got to enjoy on the outdoor patio. Also, her beautiful Airedale, Doc, is a sweetheart and hung out with us on occasion. We can only hope that every AirBnB experience will be this lovely! Hoping to come back soon.
Lynn is lovely - the space was amazing and we enjoyed getting to know (if briefly) Lynn and Doc, her delightful dog. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the wonderful visit, Lynn!
I have had the pleasure of staying with Lynn several times now as I come up to Woodstock frequently on business. Lynn is the consummate host. Her place is beautiful and clean and she prepares a scrumptious breakfast. She gives you free reign of the first floor--very cozy and comfortable. She's also a very talented artist and it's great to see some of her work in her own home!
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Lynn's house. It is beautiful, clean, comfortable and the sound of water running by outside is so calming. She provided delicious breakfast every morning and had great tips about things to do in the area. Highly recommended!
Not to be overly dramatic, but staying at Lynn's was a transcendent experience for us. Her home is lovely beyond description, and Lynn herself was sweet and welcoming -- though, funny enough, we were mostly ships in the night, only seeing each other in passing over our short 24 hours. The room was perfect, with a perfect cross-breeze to boot, and in the morning, Lynn had prepared for us an excellent breakfast. The house is tucked on the side of a mountain, a mile or so up the road from Woodstock proper, surrounded by trees and in earshot of a rushing stream. Her property is magical (there's a damn hammock, come on) and bathed in starlight at night. Highly recommended.
This was our first time booking through airbnb. Staying at Lynn's home was a wonderful experience. The bed was so so comfortable, breakfast was great, and the guides she provided were very helpful. The home is very lovely. The patio offered amazing views of the night sky. Overall, very relaxing and comfortable. Thanks Lynn!
We had a great night staying at Lynn's beautiful home. We were made to feel totally at home, we slept amazingly and the breakfast was great. Only sad we couldn't stay longer than one night, it was so relaxing.
