Nearby buses will conveniently help you navigate around Brooklyn too. Driving to downtown Manhattan is 15 minutes.
Park slope is a wonderful neighborhood nestled in between lots of greenery of charming brownstones. It is most famous for it's eclectic, delicious variety of restaurants, amazing shopping, Prospect Park and quaint gardens.Parks that accent the American history that took place in Revolitionary War with statues and monuments. It is a very safe neighborhood, complete with trendy coffee shops, cool bars, great eats, singles and families. You are conveniently located just a hop skip and jump away from the Prospect Park, BAM-Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Brooklyn Museum, and the Brooklyns newest addition... The Barclay Center (home to the BROOKLYN NETS)! Also, big ticket concerts: among them, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Bottecelli, etc. Other nearby hoods include Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill (great for shopping and eating as well, or just plain strolling and sight seeing), Red Hook (trendy little area on the water), Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo filled with outdoor markets and great flea markets and of course the daily Smörgåsbord of local restaurants.
The neighborhood is safe and quiet at night.

Len responded quickly to my inquiries about the place ahead of time. My parents stayed there for the weekend and it was a beautiful apartment in a very cute neighborhood. Everything was well maintained and taken care of.
The reservation was canceled 18 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Lenny left the keys for us and was very easy to contact with some of our silly questions. We loved the neighborhood. It was convenient visiting our grand girls.
I have no major complaints. It was comfy and bed was excellent. We would have been happier with better pillows or multiple ones.
It was a bit pricey for us. We could not make coffee, no filters for french press. It would have been more pleasant to not need to purchase coffee and filters considering the price or to go outside in the morning for the coffee.
Nicely decorated and the patio was lovely.
The apartment was dirty. The kitchen cabinet under the sink was propped open with a Drano can. Virtually no closet space provided, we had to use our suitcases. The TV in the bedroom did not work. Construction work was going on in the building and disrupted our sleep. The host was clueless and did not seem to understand why we were unhappy. He threatened to charge us more via (website hidden) and we felt uncomfortable and left a day early and went to a (website hidden): we cleaned his apartment.
Lenny was lovely! He responded to my request almost straightaway, made the check-in easy and was available to answer any questions. He was available for any questions we had and the space looked exactly like it was featured.
We had a very enjoyable stay here. Lenny was reliable and very helpful. His place is well-located in Park Slope, comfortable and generally in reasonable condition. If you have not been to Park Slope, I can highly recommend both the neighborhood and this place as accommodation within it.
Lenny was a fantastic host, and we loved the apartment especially the patio and garden!!!
Would definitely rent again from him. The neighbourhood was great !!
