The Gitchee Gami Bicycle Trail goes right past the house along the highway, and is great for a casual bike ride or walk. Here you are just minutes from Lutsen Mountains, the Northlands premiere winter ski-resort. Visit in the summer to enjoy the alpine slide and sight-seeing gondola that takes you right up to the summit of Moose Mountain- a must-do during leaf change season in the fall!
At Pointavu on Lake Superior, you are surrounded by miles of hiking trails, including the Superior Hiking Trail, and numerous state parks. Enjoy enchanting waterfalls and hikes up to gorgeous peaks where the panoramic views of Lake Superior are sure to impress. Whatever season you visit the North Shore, you are sure to find plenty to do! Of course, you can always choose to just come and relax and let your worries wash away at Pointavu.
