The space

Some say the necessities of life are food, water and shelter. We don’t disagree.

But we happen to think there are a few other items that make that life worth living: romance, respite, art, exploration…and maybe a few cookies before bed.

At the Korner Kottage B&B, living the sweet life is not only possible, it’s the rule. So what are you waiting for? Come stay awhile. Feed your soul, inspire your heart. Rest your body.

Your joy is in our details. 1

This is an awesome place to stay. There is a special warmth at Linda and Jim's home that will leave you wishing you could linger on and on. The beds and linens are luxurious. Breakfast is exquisite and served in the garden in nice weather, or in the cozy dining room when cool. The location is perfect for strolling the nearby shops and restaurants, as well as the harbor of Suttons Bay.

Jim and Linda have an excellent place in Sutton's Bay. My wife and I really enjoyed breakfast in the beautiful garden patio, playing cards on th large front porch during a rainy evening, and the food for breakfast was outstanding. The location is great fit working the small town, biking, or tour vineyards. We even had a request for a little later checkout granted because there were no other guests checking in that day. That was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

The Korner Kottage is perfectly located in Suttons Bay close to everything. The room was cozy and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our delicious, fresh breakfast outdoors in the garden with the other guests on a gorgeous August morning. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the back yard in the evening. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The coffee is delicious :) Absolutely loved it!

Our names were in the door to a room and a welcome note awaited us. Hosts took an interest in our plans for the weekend and were very personable.

This was our first time bnb experience. We had no idea what to expect. Everything that I was worried about never appeared. We had complete privacy. The breakfast was better then any I've had anywhere. I was full for the days adventures. Coffee was amazing. I wish I would of looked at the coffee maker they used. I'll be buying one soon. The gas fire pit in the back yard kept us warm wile we watched the sleet fall. The bed was very comfortable. The sheets felt soft and pillows where great. I'd love to have them on my own bed. She was very knowledgeable about the whole town. You are with in walking distance of the beach and shopping. The locals in the town are warm and inviting. The winery's are all over the place. You don't have to go far to find a good one. Hop lot is a brewery down the road. They have amazing porters. I'm hoping I can order or find there beer around my area. The Leelanau Peninsula is definitely a getaway that I'll be doing next summer and I'll be staying at this bnb and getting on board a bus for a wine tour.
