Caitlin’s place is amazing. The bed is very comfortable and the room is very bright. It's located in the Upper West Side, so it's very close to Central Park (it seems like a dream !). It's also near the subway so you can move to other places very fast. Caitlin it's an amazing host ! She is very passionate about NYC and USA, so she can suggest you hidden places and things to do. I kindly recommend her :)

Caitlin was very hospitable and accommodating, and had various little attentions waiting for me. The apartment, while not the most modern place, was very comfortable, welcoming and warm. Caitlin was very helpful with insights on interesting things to see and do in New York and found the right balance between being present and giving the privacy I needed. Add the location near Central Park and close to public transportation and you have here a great place to stay.

Well where do I start?! Caitlin and her beautiful place - it was an absolute pleasure staying there. Super comfy bed and Caitlin thinks of everything you may need. It was more like staying with an old friend than with a stranger. It added to my amazing first time in NYC. I would happily stay with Caitlin again and would love for her to visit me in NZ!

The location simply could not be better. The flat is lovely, clean, bright, and retaining original features. Good hot shower, great hot coffee. Nice and quiet on the top floor (there is a lift). Caitlin really went out of her way to make me at home and ensure that I made the most of my time. You're 2 blocks from Central Park, 2 blocks from Riverside park, and 2 blocks from the metro - whatever you plan to do with your time in the city, this is a convenient base from which you can get to know New York.

Caitlin's home (and yours too, if you stay there) is even better than I imagined! The place is bright, meticulously clean, and so wonderfully UWS. My room was a delight- light, airy, graciously appointed with a fantastic bed and linens. I even asked where I could buy a set of her sheets. The bath products provided where nicer than I have gotten in some fancy hotels I was able to have a lovely coffee in the morning and I brought in takeout and leftovers to eat in the spacious dining room where I also enjoyed music and using my iPad. Caitlin was totally helpful when I needed it and respectful of my space when I did not. There were maps and tour books and lessons from Caitlin on the way NYC directions operate (I am directionally challenged) so I was set every day and never got lost. And finally, LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! You cannot beat this place. Try it, you'll ❤️ it. I will make this my home spot whenever I go into the city.

I am a native New Yorker and never tire of my beautiful city. I work in the arts as as actress so going to the theatre is my 2nd home. . Love cooking, knitting and boxing. I am an avid reader and there are many books in my home. Since New York has always been my home, I can tell you of the many off the beaten path sites in NYC. Explore the gem museum, fabulous thrift shops, specialty markets etc. I look forward to meeting people from other places and welcoming them into my home.

Be well and hope you come and visit this wonderful city.
