Had a very nice stay at Anne's place. She was helpful and kind. Even mailed me something I left behind. I recommend her spot!
Anne was very responsive to our needs and was very friendly. We flew in late so she left the keys under the door for us. I had several questions and she answered me promptly. Even gave me a couple of recommendations of places to visit in town. I couldn't ask for more.
As far the flat, everything was decorated nicely and clean, the bed was roomy (actually much more comfortable than what we have at home), and the location was perfect. So close that it cost us less to take Uber everywhere than to rent a car (I did the calculation). If you want to walk, there is a bunch of shops and a killer breakfast/brunch place about 10 mins walk.
Highly recommended. Very well put together and gives you the local feel. Why would anyone want to stay in a cookie cutter hotel anymore?!
Great place and great location...just as advertised. Loved the neighborhood. Anne is a wonderful host and kept checking in with us throughout the week. My husband travels so much for work so he really didn't want to do a hotel for a week while visiting our daughter...he says we will definitely rent from Anne again! And the cookies were delicious!
I loved the space! It was in such a convenient location (a $11 uber from downtown at night) as well. Close to South Congress and downtown. The inside of the space was also very comfortable. We didn't spend much time in there other than to shower and sleep but the time that we did spend inside, we really enjoyed! I would gladly return to Anne's amazing space and hospitality!
Anne's place is great! Great and safe location, plenty of space and an amazing host. This is my second time staying here, and I'll definitely be back!
This was our first Airbnb experience and we didn't really know what to expect. However any worries we had quickly evaporated once we began emailing with Anne and we saw the flat. Anne answered every question quickly and kept in touch during our stay by texting us to ask if we needed anything. It was a great flat and very comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. It's in a great neighborhood and we walked to the shops and restaurants along South Congress. She left a pitcher of cold water in the fridge which we very much appreciated. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Really lovely place, we are very happy that we booked it :) It's perfect for a couple from New York going to Austin to explore its food and culture. Centrally located, close to shops and food trucks, easy Uber access and overall a lovely neighborhood! Thank you guys!!!

About the Host, Anne
I am an Austin resident since 1987 - when I moved here on a whim. I am now officially keeping Austin weird. I stay busy with design projects, run coaching and cycling. And readying our space for Airbnb guests.
