Some say the necessities of life are food, water and shelter. We don’t disagree.
But we happen to think there are a few other items that make that life worth living: romance, respite, art, exploration…and maybe a few cookies before bed.
At the Korner Kottage B&B, living the sweet life is not only possible, it’s the rule. So what are you waiting for? Come stay awhile. Feed your soul, inspire your heart. Rest your body.

Linda and Jim were very gracious to accommodate us after a little camping disaster! The room was great, the location was unbeatable, and the breakfast was creative and delicious. It's clear that they put a lot of care and warmth into the Korner Kottage!
Linda and Jim made it super convenient for us to check in late and put a perfect to-go breakfast in the fridge for us to take with us the next morning. Lovely, comfortable room with cold water in the fridge and bathrobes hanging in the bathroom. We hope to return sometime when we have more time to stay!
I am a retired teacher of 32 years and currently for the past 8 years, the happy owner/innkeeper of Korner Kottage B&B. I am a wife to Jim, a mom to grown sons, Christopher and Andrew and grandma to grand daughters Myla and Ella.
Being an innkeeper has expanded for horizons in so many ways. It is a gift to interface with so many wonderful people sitting at my breakfast table. It is an excellent reason to have fresh flowers in all the rooms and always be ready for company.
I invite you to experience our little paradise in northern Michigan. Come play in Suttons Bay and stay with us at the Korner Kottage.
