Guests have access to the entire apartment, including the living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, etc.
I personally welcome guests into the apartment, then leave for the remainder of their stay. I am, however, just a few blocks and a phone call away if guests have any questions or need assistance.
Wayland Square is a vibrant neighborhood, with cafes, shops, and many great restaurants to choose from. Whole Foods and another local grocery store are two and three blocks away.
The public bus stop is right around the corner, providing easy access to the city and surrounding areas.
We very much enjoyed our stay here. Phoebe is an excellent host: readily available to address any questions. The place is comfortable and exceptionally clean, and the location is convenient to local restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. While for some, the stairs up to the apartment and the parking being a block away might prove a challenge, we had no problem with this and would definitely recommend Phoebe's place to anyone looking to explore the great city of Providence and the surrounding areas.
Wanted a quick, 1 night stay out of NYC. She was flexible and let us book last minute. We had a great stay - very comfortable! The location is so cute and quaint with lots to do and explore closeby. Overall, a great first Airbnb experience!
Great place to stay. Host was very attentive!
I stayed at Phoebe's apartment as a long term visitor (5 weeks) and it was perfect! And she is so nice! Comfy bed, great location, warm and comfortable! Cozy and easy, it was a home away from home for me! Thanks, Phoebe!
I stayed at Phoebe's apartment in Dec 2013, the apartment was great, which locates in an old building, it is located in a nice neighbourhood, easy to access coffee shop, restaurants and grocery stores. Phoebe was very helpful. I will stay there again and definitely recommend.
Phoebe's apartment was lovely, and she was a thoughtful, flexible, wonderful hostess. Thanks Phoebe!!
Superb appartement avec charme et proximite des ecoles et des petites commerces. Phoebe est tres aimable et efficace. Je reviendrai certainement.
Phoebe's apartment was perfect for our needs--clean throughout, comfortable bed, wonderful neighborhood. Phoebe herself could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I would certainly recommend!
It's hard to top the accolades for Phoebe...they are all spot on.
She's a delight to work with, responds really promptly, and treats her AirBNB like a pro. The apt, as noted, is spare chic with thoughtful touches. Comfy bed, fluffy towels.. all spotless. The apt. is flooded with light,...sunrise on one side, sunset on the other. the Wayland Sq location, has so much ( upscale and other) to offer...we liked the cafe around the corner that had some great mid-east specials to eat in or take out. Do remember it's an older building so don't be put off by the entry...(and if climbing stairs is tough for you, maybe re-think.) My husband and I happily recommend.
Had never been to Providence so had no idea of locations, neighborhoods, etc. Phoebe's place is truly in a terrific area--lots of shops (including one called the Runcible Spoon), restaurants and even a Whole Foods. The parking permit was worth its weight in gold. The apartment is cute as can be--very minimalist, which I much prefer over a place that's over-decorated.Everything was clean as well, a whistle. Much appreciated Phoebe and Adam's help getting my suitcase up the more convenient but steeper back stairs to the apartment. Once settled in, I hardly noticed the apartment is on the 2nd floor and I'm definitely a senior. Phoebe and Adam's restaurant recommendations were also spot-on. Both downtown Providence and the Italian neighborhood (Federal Hill) are only a few minutes drive and being in the middle of a vibrant college community added to the experience. I recommend this apartment highly.
