Thanks to Miriam for making my trip comfortable. The room was exactly as described and Miriam is a friendly, discrete host.
Me and my friend stayed for a couple of nights at Miriam's place during Docfest. The room was really clean and quite big! Miriam was really helpful and friendly. We adjusted our arrival time last minute and Miriam adjusted to that. Really great host! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Sheffield.
I found everything I was looking for in this room. A quiet household with a very helpful yet not in your face host. Miriam answered all questions I had and gave me all the relevant information I might have needed. The accommodation was clean and tidy and with good transport links to the city centre.
I would happily use Miriam's again and would definitely recommend it to others.
Thank Miriam for a great stay.
Nice house with a decent sized room and a comfortable bed. Miriam was a friendly and welcoming host who made me feel at home.
Host very helpful and unintrusive, although more than happy to chat socially. If in Sheffield I would certainly stay again.

Local Meditteranean restaurant, extremely friendly host and well priced good quality food. Always had a lovely dining experience here.
Best charity shop in the area! They seem to get an overwhelming number of excellent quality donations so there's always a bargain to be found and the money goes to a great local cause.
Vintage arts and crafts centre. They have lots of second hand & repurposed furniture, clothes, records, jewellery and host a number of independent Sheffield sellers. Don't forget to visit the café!

One of the better Sheffield charity shops, particularly for homewares and furniture, and their large selection of books.
Huiwei is a Chinese restaurant and an indian restaurant called Maveli shares the same entrance. Both are fantastic, top quality food and great service. Booking a table is recomended.

Right next to the Crucible, the Lyceum also hosts a combination of dramatic performances, stand-up comedians and west end musicals. Beware the balcony seats though; they are too small for human bums!
