Enjoy your stay! :)
This is your home for the time you are in Avignon!
Please help the environment by turning off the lights when you get out of the apartment...
Close the gas before leaving otherwise you will fall asleep fairly quickly returning. :)
If you want to throw your rubbish is in the basement of the building. In the elevator you press "SS" and it's behind the red door.
I love animals but unfortunately there is no place for them.
From Jul 1 - 26, 2015 the minimum stay is 5 nights.
Cosy apartment just for 2. Very well located and nearby to all the big attractions in Avignon.
The weather was very hot which can make sleeping tough. A fan is provided to make things a little easier.
We got mixed up with the building next door when we first arrived. Don't make the mistake we did and make sure you are at the right building number!
We recently completed a 3-night stay at the property of the curiously named Coccoon/Yannick. The studio is remarkably small (the front entry doubles as a kitchenette with sink, elements, cupboards, and, what we'd call in North America, a bar fridge. The living space is just big enough to accommodate a double bed a two folding chairs/table. There isn't much in the way of space for your luggage (nor much else) but you and your companion should be okay here for a short period of time.
The studio is about a 10 minute walk from the train/bus station and is conveniently located across from the Palais du Papes. Given the central location, earplugs are strongly recommended for sleeping (revellers at the restaurants, etc.) There is no air conditioning and I found the studio to be uncomfortably warm at times. The studio could benefit from some updating, particularly the bathroom/shower and kitchenette. What is more, cleaning seemed a bit on the superficial side (grime in the bathroom, dust, thick dust deposits on the air vents.) The proprietor was very responsive and proactive in terms of making booking arrangements and ensuring check-in went well (we did not meet as he was indisposed at the time.)
While Avignon, to my knowledge, has been known as a genteel holidaymaker location, I was generally uncomfortable after dark. During the day, the streets are full of friendly pensioners on vacation; at night, a more insidious element (and I am not referring to the homeless folks) proliferates on the main drag (which is, strangely enough, otherwise empty, the side streets, are also empty save for groups of young men who don't look like lavender enthusiasts.
thank you for your comments to be constructive for me. next time I suggest you rent a larger and therefore more expensive housing. the information space in the housing are well detailed in the advertisement. you can also rent for your next stay a hotel room to be managed by professionals with a prize multiplied by five at least, but obviously without small kitchen. obviously I can not tell you certify that you find no hair in the bathrooms if you rent a real hotel room like that could happen to me sometimes. I agree with you that perfection is in the detail, but the human being is not perfect. everybody can make mistakes.
Yannick could be there to welcome me but he did everything to insure that I had no problem to get into the studio and it is very easy to arrive to from the train station. The studio is all you could hope for for a short stay. It is clean, well equipped. The location is 5 star minimum and if you are too lazy to see for your own breakfast you are just across the street from a hotel If you come by train make sure to stope at the tourist office on the way to the studio. They are very helpful and informative. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Overall the apartment was exactly as described. The host met us at the apartment and showed us how to enter and where everything was. The bed was comfortable and we were able to relax. We didn't think ahead when planning and didn't realize how hot it would be while we were in Avignon so we wished we had air conditioning, but there was a fan. Its more of an oversight on our part than anything. I would say the place was neat and clean and very well located in Avignon.
This is a great little studio in the center of town. I stayed there two days and was totally comfortable. Perhaps most importantly, there is a great fan in the bedroom to keep the air moving on warm Mediterranean nights. Also, the wifi connection is very good.
