I live in a quiet area beside the sea within 5 Mins walk to the town which has some great restaurants with live music at peak season. This is the perfect base for your holiday with places like Arranmore island, Glenveagh National Park, Errigal Mountain and lots more all within driving distance. If you want to walk we have miles of off road walks to suit all abilities.
There is limited public transport so it is advisable to have a car or rent a bicycle locally. Donegal Airport which has two daily flights from and to Dublin and one weekly flight to Glasgow is only 15 mins by car.
This was our favourite B&B that we stayed in on our tour of Donegal, the room was lovely with a comfortable bed. Marie recommended a beautiful spot to see the sunset which was stunning.
Marie was extremely nice and helpful, as it is common in Ireland, but even more than that! The room is very comfortable and the location is beautiful. Strongly recommended
Marie's B&B was absolutely STUNNING. It was incredibly easy to find and is just a short walk into the town. The views from the area are beautiful. The room was 5 star standard; waters and tea&coffee facilities in the room. We had a delicious breakfast in the morning - all you could need; cereal, fresh bread, fresh fruit....I can't speak more highly of the place-DEFINTELY worth a visit!
Marie was lovely and so was her home. We had a fantastic stay in Dungloe, in great part, to the hospitality of Marie.
Our room was wonderful, I would rate it 9 out of 10.
The full fry irish breakfast was fantastic, 10 out of 10. Plus she offered fresh juice, fruits and what not. It was our favorite BnB breakfast of our month in Ireland.
The home itself is very nice too. We enjoyed watching the world cup in the evenings, in a very relaxing space.
You are an 8-10 minute walk to the heart of town, you are 2 minutes walk to the sea. You can literally see the ocean from your breakfast table.
I would recommend Marie to anyone looking for a place in the area. The area is also worth exploring, it is somewhat off the beaten path, but truly breathtaking.
I would consider the rate we paid to be more than fair for the product that Marie delivered. We would stay again.
