Historic Residence Palazzo Bichi Ruspoli is situated on the main street, in the heart of Siena. The entrance is from the ancient tower, one of the three buildings wich the palace is composed. The house is on the third floor with elevator and has a stunning view on the city, in particular on the beatiful church "Basilica di Provenzano". The apartment is divided into very big living room with two couches tv and dining table, a large kitchen, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house has been freshly restructured, roofs are very high and decorated.
The kitchen can be used by guests and is provided of microwawe oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The building is located in the most central part of Siena, all the most important touristic attractions can be reached by foot in a few minutes. Piazza del Campo, famous all over the word for the Palio, is about a three minute walk, the cathedral five minutes. The house is near to the parking of the stadium and to the taxi and bus stations.
We had very nice and delightful three days in Andrea´s light and beautiful apartment at Palazzo Bichi Ruspoli in Siena, Italy. The building is originally one thousand years old and the WALLS are one meter, over three feet thick. This old keep is now very modern and has large, vast and beautiful views over Siennese roofs and church cupolas to Toscana countryside up to distant hills. Very nice and lovely. Now in springtime nature was becoming green and colourful. The house is in the center of Siena with walking distance everywhere. Tutto perfetto!

With a month of travel throughout Italy, Andre' apartment was by far the best lodging. We stayed in nice hotels, Agriturismo, and other apartments. It was a place comfortable to rest during the day and had a great location for experiencing the essence of Siena. The apartment was furnished nicely and had everything you need. Thank you Andre!
This apartment was awesome. We were two couples traveling together and had an amazing time in Siena. You could not wish for a better place. This place is very well located in the middle of the city. You do have to carry your bags a ways since you can't drive but this was not a problem for us -- part of the charm of Siena is the lack of cars so just be aware that you're going to be walking a bit with luggage. The kitchen is very spacious and modern. The living room and dining area was very comfortable. Two very nice bedrooms and two bathrooms. All very modern amenities but with a warm old world feel.
Andrea was great too. He met us at our car and showed us how to get to the apartment and did everything possible to make our stay in Siena great. I would definitely recommend him and this apartment to anyone visiting Tuscany.
Wow, Andrea couldn't have been a better host. He is super efficient when replying to emails in the lead up to the booking. His apartment is exceptional. The absolute best location you could find in Siena. Fantastically decorated and superbly equipped. Andrea came to meet us from the free parking area on the outskirts of the town and walked us to his apartment. His recommendations for places to eat were tremendous. We couldn't have asked for more.
A brilliant way to spend two days of our Italian honeymoon.
Thank you Andrea, we will be back soon.
The apartment is really beyond anything I could describe here in a short review. The view from the living room was always amazing, the entire apartment was well appointed, and Andrea could not have been a friendlier host. We absolutely loved our very brief stay in the apartment and hope to come back in the future as Siena is truly an amazing town. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
Andrea's apartment is fabulous! It was recently remodeled, clean, and has gorgeous views of the city. The location is in the heart of Siena and central to everything. We loved our stay in the apartment and would love to return. Andrea and his sister were so helpful and lovely during our stay. We could not ask for anything better! Thank you.
Located right smack in the city centre, this means that for those who drive, you need to park elsewhere. Parking was free, but needed a 10-15 min walk to the apartment (including some stairs).
Andrea was very kind and met us at the car park to walk us to the apartment.
Getting up to the apartment needed some small steps to reach the elevator, but otherwise hassle free.
When we arrived the apartment, we were wowed by how spacious and gorgeous it was. It was lovingly and tastefully done up with a well equipped kitchen, 2 rooms and 2 toilets.
The view from the apartment was simply breathtaking. We were there in Dec and I managed to catch the beautiful sunrise from our windows.
Location was ideal. Short walks to most areas of interest.
Highly, highly recommended!
P.S. We are a group of 3 travelers.
This apartment is fantastic and the host is a wonderful man. This has been the best stay, right in the center of town and the views from the apartment are breathtaking! I would highly recommend this place a perfect get away in Siena.
Just renovated and retaining a wonderful old charm with modern appliances and fittings.
If this place is available GET IT. What a great experience!! The place is just as pictured - beautiful, big, bright, and that view is *breathtaking*. It's right in the heart of the coolest part of Siena, close to everything. The place was well equipped, clean, and we were left wanting for nothing.
As a host Andrea was awesome. He made sure everything was to our liking and we had our bearings around town. He was even nice enough to make a reservation for us at a restaurant he recommended (they didn't speak English). That was our best meal of the trip.
A++ for both the host and the experience. I hope to stay here again!
Due to a change in our requirements, I cancelled a hotel booking to book this apartment fairly soon before our trip - and it was the best thing I could have done.
This apartment is even better than the photos look - and sunrise from the living room or kitchen windows is just spectacular, especially if there is some low lying cloud in the nearby valleys.
Andrea's greeting was very warm and friendly, showing us the apartment's and kitchen's features. It is very spacious, in a beautiful just-renovated conditions, and very clean. More importantly it is perfectly located, very close to the Campo in one direction, and the piazza with the bus stops and post office in the other.
I would love to spend longer than 2 nights in Siena next time the food is great (though still withdrawing from our addiction to Siena panforte!), and the Duomo is a favorite. And this apartment, high over the rooftops, is the perfect place to enjoy Siena. Thanks Andrea!
