The space

Welcome to Tuamotu Bingin — a truly unique private villa blending traditional Javanese heritage with modern comfort, set in one of Bingin’s most sought-after locations.
Tucked away just moments from some of the area’s best cafés, world-class restaurants, and wellness spaces (including saunas, ice baths, and yoga studios), the villa offers both privacy and easy access to the Uluwatu lifestyle.
Designed as an experience rather than just a place to stay, the property centres around an original two-generation-old Limasan wooden house, carefully transported from Java and beautifully restored. The main roof features over 35,000 hand-placed bamboo shingles, crafted using a rare traditional technique by a single skilled tukang (artisan).
Our second bedroom, a historic Gladak, is approximately 150 years old and retains many of its original features — including smaller doors and windows that reflect traditional Javanese proportions (with additional access added for ease and comfort).
The villa embraces open living, with outdoor showers, relaxed indoor-outdoor spaces, and a one-of-a-kind bathing experience in a restored 200-year-old sampan (traditional canoe), hand carved from a single piece of wood. Throughout the property, you’ll find carefully curated antiques that bring the spirit of old Java and Bali to life.
Bedrooms are comfortable and thoughtfully appointed, with high thread count quality linens and everything you need for a relaxed stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, whether you prefer to cook or simply enjoy the many excellent dining options just steps away.
Important to Note
We kindly recommend reviewing the room dimensions and layout in the photo gallery prior to booking to ensure the space suits your needs — the villa is designed in a traditional style and proportions reflect this.
• Check-out is strictly at 11:00 AM (no exceptions due to scheduling)
• This is a private home — hotel-style services (breakfast/meals) are not provided
• No parties or events permitted
• No pets allowed inside the villa grounds
Villa Upkeep & Housekeeping
To maintain the villa, pool, and gardens to a high standard, scheduled services take place:
• Basic Pool maintenance: 3x per week (10:00 AM)
• Garden maintenance: 3x per week (from 10:00 AM)
Our housekeeping team is available 7 days a week, providing daily cleaning and remaining on standby should you need any assistance. They may attend the villa between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM unless you prefer to adjust timing or decline service at any time.
Departure Day:
Our team will begin preparing the villa from 11:00 AM on your check-out day. Due to high occupancy, late check-outs unfortunately not available. If you require a later departure, we recommend booking an additional night in advance.
