What a fantastic place to stay. The service was nothing short of impeccable throughout. The riad is absolutely lovely and a calm hidden oasis from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. I took a group of photographers here and we basically walked the entire trip (as the location was so conveniently central to most sites in Marrakech) I'd recommend this to anyone and will definitely return to my next visit.

Great Riad and experience. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is lovely. We enjoyed every single minute spend there and will definitely be back in the future. We spent few days in this Riad as we were invited to a wedding at La Palmeraie and this was a great spot for all the reasons mentioned above. I strongly recommend it. Christel was in touch with us from the beginning until the end and her staff were very helpful.

My group and I LOVED this riad. Christel, the property's owner, was incredibly accommodating and very quick to respond to messages and concerns. The riad was beautiful, clean, and very close to the Jamaa el-fna and other Marrakech landmarks. It was ideal for our weekend excursion. Just a heads up, the caretaker only spoke French and Arabic, so that might be an impediment for some people.

At first everything seemed well But we felt heavily monitored by Rashid the manager very soon. We also did not know builders would be coming in and out So my 2 sisters had to come out of their bedroom and felt this was inconvenience on their part when they wanted to rest in bed We were not told anyone would be coming in Although I did mention to Christel that we wear hijab and wouldn't want any men coming in, and she said Rachid would only come if we needed him, he just walked in and saw us without our hijab whilst we were in our nighties This made us feel so uncomfortable and we could not relax totally knowing that he could walk in whenever he liked He was like CCTV around us recording everything It made our stay very uncomfortable and we just felt like leaving quite truthfully There were drunk men in the alley near our door who were making very loud noises all night long and the children were afraid . There are quite a few things in the riad that need fixing and after the table incident we were just waiting for Rachid to point fingers at us to say we did this and (URL HIDDEN) like he is waiting for someone to touch something that is already nearly broken and then blame the person and of course make the person pay It's not a right way to make guests feel at all He would walk in when I opened the door and not even say hello We came all the way from England to Marrakech for the first time and due to the time at the riad I don't think we will return very soon sadly Our stay was ruined by this daily monitoring which was unfair. I think the riad is not suitable or safe for very young children Things like the kettle being very low in the kitchen is a hazard And ornaments etc where children can accidently knock over I feel it's more suited for adults I did enjoy spending time on the terrace early evening it's very peaceful there. Christel was very professional and responds very well Communication with her was good, but Rachid cannot speak English so communication with him was difficult. Malika is lovely but we did not know she would be at the riad all day long from morning till evening Did not have privacy

Response from Christel:
Unfortunately I’m not surprised but It’s sad to read that kind of wrong statement and comments after all the mess and damages you did with your children in my House. I would just clarified that you tried to hide the significant damage done on the furnitures and first of all refused to paid for repaired it, which is just unacceptable, Sorry. Then yes, I asked to my manager to be careful and check on regularly basis the riad to avoid any other issue before your departure. Your lack of honesty didn’t let me the choice… that can happen, but Rachid always remained polite, in spite your rudeness with him, and always informed you when he came in the riad to visit you, and Malika was there to serve you and helped you to manage your children even if it is not in her duty! I told you if you don’t need her, she will not come. It’s a benefit that I pay for my guests, if they don’t want the service, she stay at home, very simple, hence don’t blame it after having benefit of it, please. Nevertheless, it will be a pleasure to receive you again (if you controlled your children better to avoid that kind of situation). Thank you.

Have just returned from a brilliant stay at Christel's beautiful Marrakech Riad. The Riad is well equipped, with a fantastic central location. We were a group of 10 women who stayed for 3 nights. We opted to have breakfasts cooked by Malika - which were superb, one evening meal in - which again was cooked to a high standard and was really reasonable! We felt totally relaxed, and safe. The Riad is clean and well maintained and the staff: Malika, Rachid and Driss went out of their way to make us feel well looked after and catered for. We cannot thank them enough. Good tanning spot on the roof, and nice dining, lounge and atrium area with pool downstairs. Highly recommend this Riad. Close to souks. We can highly recommend restaurants: Terrasse Des Epices (walking distance) and Comptoir restaurant (taxi distance). Great Riad for large groups! Thanks from all of us!! Joanne (England)

Wonderful experience. Do put a note that the place is part or the market, but it's in not too noisy or busy just outside the riad. The host is amazing and very welcoming so are the riad staff, they lack English and Arabic but speak Moroccan well, make sure you are very clear with them. The breakfast Wa not worth the price, it's cheaper and you get your money's worth to either buy out and cook yourselves or eat out. The staff themselves will help you buy from the local market they know the right places. Overall thumbs up it's a great place

Christel had great communication from start to finish and during our stay and arranged everything we asked for. Contact with Rachid was too invasive he would walk in to the riad at any time and sit and watch and not speak and as a bunch of girls that it not good, as you're booking for the privacy and not for someone to walk in at anytime or shout at you for locking the front door.

Response from Christel:
Dear Bianca, Thanks for your review, I'm happy you had a good time and you enjoyed the riad with your guests. I'm very surprise about your comment concerning Rachid, because he always knocks on the door before going inside the riad. I apologize for this inconvenience and I have already clarified this behavior issue with him to be sure that does not happen again. We hope to see you again soon.
