The apartment is small but cozy enough to accommodate 3 people. The elderly might wish to reconsider because the location is not really near to the TST and Jordan MTR stations, have to walk about 15 minutes. To drag your luggage from the nearest A21 city flyer bus-stop to the apartment takes about 10-15 minutes depending on your walking speed. Other than that, the location has many eateries nearby. Initially I thought the washing machine and dryer are inside the apartment but actually they are outside of the apartment next to the door in the common area of the 4 apartments. Please note not to do your laundry after 8pm because the machine makes some noises when washing so it might disturb the other occupants. We don't get to use them during our stay because we are always out till late during our stay. Lastly not forgetting that Daisy is a great host who made an effort to meet us to guide us on locking and unlocking the door when we arrived. I will definitely book her apartment again if travelling to hk with my friends but not my mother because she cannot walk too much.
Since Daisy was not in town during our stay, Cora was very helpful in meeting us the first day and getting us aquainted with the apartment. It is a very nice apartment for the price although it gets very humid when the dryer is on in the hall way. Not a big deal as there is air conditioning and fans if need be. There is a lot of closet space, very comfortable beds. The wifi connection was stopped for a day but then I contacted Cora and it was fixed in a timely manner. The apartment is located in a great location, close to a few mtrs, close to the history and science museum and a 12 min walk to Poly University. Overall, I had a great experience in Hong Kong and this apartment is really good. After a while it felt like home.
This apartment is awesome. It's a great price considering you have access to a washer/dryer, your own kitchen, and the apartment itself is roomy enough to feel comfortable no matter where you are sleeping. I have been to HK multiple times and have paid more to stay in some real janky/tiny places. This apartment though is constructed well, everything works like it says it should, and we all felt safe. Everything is quiet and comfortable, like home. I couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to stay here. Added bonus, the neighborhood is very nice. You are in the city, but in a very calm area, you are three blocks away from the metro, and about two blocks from Paisano's. I don't feel like looking for a different place to stay when I go to HK now. I will consider this apartment as my first choice every time I visit.
Great location. Clean. Sufficient for three guests (couple + an adult) my wife, toddler and I were comfortable.
Beautiful and well furnished little apartment with even a microwave for easy cooking. Good wifi network. 4 apartments shared a washing machine and dryer. Kimberly road is walking distance from Jordan MTR station, hosting local food delights and many korean restaurants if you are a fan of authentic korean food. i will recommend this apartment to my friend who visited HK
I stayed in Daisy's apartment B from 20-24 Dec. The apartment is in good condition although the building was a little vintage but it was well renovated just like service apartment with kitchenette. Wifi strength is strong and easily connected, a plus! Bed linens were cleaned and as well as a good toilet and shower room. Managed to control the heater and you get warm water for showers! Super convenient with lots of restaurants, department stores and 7-11s nearby, just a short walk to TST MTR and Jordan MTR. There are 4 apartments within the same floor after entering through the main entrance which is safely locked with an electronic door, a very kind thought! A great deal for a room for 3 people in apartment B as we are not big build, comfortable furniture and must say Daisy takes great pride in doing up the interior! A place to stay if you are looking for great locality!
The location is very convenient and meeting Cora, the helper, was easy upon our arrival. The room is neat and clean, basically what you see is what you get. Just a gentle reminder that one has to view from the perspective of a Hong Kong housing as photo will not give a feel of 3D space. There is washing machine and dryer outside next to the room - seems to be a welcome facility to many as the utilization rate appears to be high from the machine sound which we could hear. Perhaps a suggestion to limit the usage to a certain timing not too late in the night so as not to disturb sleep, although it did not really bother me much. Overall a good staying experience and I shall be back.
Our stay at the apartment was not a great experience. One of the reasons being was that the door was pass code locked with the same password for the main door and our room's door. We understood the reason for using the same password for the main door as there were other guests. However, we were not able to change the passcode for our room door. This made our room unsafe as the owners and helpers are able to open the door when we are not around. This matter proved to be true when Joseph called to ask what happened to a missing bed sheet. He had called on the fourth day to ask us if there was a missing bed sheet. That particular bed sheet had a large patch of stain when we uncovered the blanket. When he called to talk to us about it, he kept asking where we had placed the blanket or we had seen it. After a long conversation, he ended the call by saying he would ask his helper to see if she had saw it. Should not he have called to clarify with the helper first instead of calling us to ask if we have took the blanket? We have told him countless time we did not see the blanket, but continue to insist that we took the blanket and made it missing. Why would we want a blanket for when we are enjoying our holiday in Hong Kong?
the reason we need to go into Melissa's apt is to repair the shower door. i called Melissa the day before and got her approval to go in. we always get prior consent from guests before entering their rooms. As regards the lost item, it is a bed sheet that's missing, not a blanket. up to today, the bed sheet is not found.
