Double bedroom in redbrick terraced house in the quiet area of Kilmainham with a shared bathroom.
I am a painter and have a lot of art hanging on the walls. Many of my neighbours are artists and musicians and there is a well-known art night in a local pub next to the National Museum of Modern Art - it's held on the first Monday of every month.
The National Museum of Decorative Arts and History, Kilmainham Gaol Museum and the Guinness Storehouse are also close by - as are all the major art galleries, museums and parks in the city centre (3km). Public transport is practically on the doorstep and you can either walk to the centre (25 minutes) or take a bus (10 minutes) or Luas Tram (15 minutes).
The Phoenix Park is 1.5k from the house and is the largest public park in Europe with beautiful trees and wildlife.
At Annes House we found more than just a place to sleep. We immediately felt like home in her cozy und artistically minded place with a great personal style. Anne was a gracious and welcoming host. She gave us great advice about which places to see in Dublin and helped us to find a permanent accomodation. Staying with her is very uncomplicated and easy.
We are very thankful for that and wouldn't know what we would have done without her! We would absolutely recommend Anne and tell all our friends about her home.
Anne has a comfortable and welcoming home for your stay in Dublin. Her home is well located in a quiet and picturesque area quite close to the city center and has good transport links to see the sites. Anne is great for helping out with local knowledge and suggesting places and things to visit or investigate. We were very comfortable in our room and would gladly stay with Anne again.

Her house is highly clean and cosy furnished. She gave us good tips what to see in Dublin and all in all our stay in Dublin was wonderful.
Anne was a great host, who helped us as soon as we arrived in Dublin to find the house, and to make ourselves confortables into her home. Eventhough it is an old house as she told us, it is a very pretty one, and the bed was just perfect for goodnight sleeps. Maybe we'll be back again sometime!
