The Space

Why rent a room when you get the whole place?

Gorgeous, all-private, mid-century duplex above the boulevard.

Easy one mile walk to downtown Ashland, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Lithia Park.

Owners live next door. We are happy to help you with suggestions or leave you with your privacy. He is an Ashland native and she is from Alaska.

The space is private, one level, approximately 800 sq ft, with stairs leading up to a large deck and great views of the valley and Grizzly Peak. Inside is nicely furnished with a full kitchen, full bathroom, washer and dryer, and a very comfortable queen bed in the larger bedroom. The smaller bedroom is a quiet sitting area sans a bed.

The neighborhood is a mix of medical offices, homes, condominiums and there is a small park across the street. The bus stop is three blocks away. Our favorite breakfast spot, The Breadboard, is just a few blocks away.

Plenty of room to relax and it is perfect for one or two people.

Check In
  • We had a great stay in Ashland thanks to Claire and Charles. The apartment has everything you need, including a prime location. We were in town to visit the Shakespeare Festival and the stage is less than a mile from their house; so we were able to enjoy a nice evening walk rather than worry about parking. Thanks for your hospitality!

  • The duplex was very clean and quiet. Plenty of room to relax after a day at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Very comfy couches, chairs, and a queen bed, and Claire and Charles have coffee and cream waiting in the fridge, and other nice touches. I would stay here again!

  • We stayed in Claire and Charles' cute Ashland apartment for one night before a backpacking trip on the Rogue River. The apartment was perfect - clean, really beautiful, and really comfortable. Beautiful view, nice walk to downtown Ashland - we wished we could have stayed longer!

  • This was a phenomenal AirBnB. Claire was so friendly and helpful and easy to reach when needed. The house is beautiful and comfortable, and a short, pleasant walk from downtown Ashland. We really enjoyed being so close to downtown but being in a quiet, pretty neighborhood in the evenings. We will definitely try to re-book this spot when we are traveling through Ashland in the future!

  • Everything is as advertised- it's basically a fully furnished apartment with amenities. No surprises and Claire was very sweet and hospitable. Perfect location if you need to be close to downtown or the hospital. A place to be proud to say you're staying. Definitely recommend. A tip for those with allergies: if visiting Ashland in the spring, make sure to bring your Kleenex and all allergy meds. ;)
