We absolutely loved this place! It is everything as described, and more! The home was clean, fresh, inviting, and in a great location (the wedding we attended was at the Ashland Springs Hotel). The only difficulty we had was leaving and saying goodbye to Claire. We hope our paths cross again in the near future, and until then send our very best wishes. Thank you!
A great experience from start to finish! Claire greeted us to turn over the keys and go over the house rules, then graciously excused herself so that my husband and I could get to exploring Ashland. The house is walking distance to downtown, which is a plus, and is well-equipped with cozy furniture, a washer and dryer, and mid-century touches.
Our favorite things included the vintage record player and old records, Viewmasters, the mushroom book, and large (and helpful!) Oregon wall map.
Thanks for a great experience!
Claire kindly came to greet us.
She ensured the house rule before staying so that we can use her house comfortably.
The room was very clean and the interior had an artistic atmosphere. There were old-style cameras, photo books of Oregon, and mid-century style record player.
We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, and listening to the music by above record player.
Thanks a lot for sharing such a lovely place.
Claire and Charles' place was just what we needed for our brief stay in Ashland. Charles greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. We appreciated how comfortable it was. The furnishings are very interesting and made us feel like we were in a friends' home.
We enjoyed our stay very much. House was perfectly clean and hostess, Claire totally welcoming. We would be happy to stay here again if we pass through.
Claire was a great host and the apartment was perfect for an Ashland getaway - great design and very comfortable!
We really enjoyed our stay at Charles and Claire's place. Claire was very communicative and friendly. She even met us outside as we pulled up.
The house is as described. No negative surprises. The inside has a fun and interesting sixties theme, with some neat old items, such as a console turntable. It was fun spinning some Billy Joel : ).
Claire provided some whole bean coffee and half-n-half: a nice touch.
The bed was super comfortable. We slept very well.
Neighborhood is quiet, and it's close enough to town that you could walk.
In short, we would gladly stay here again, and we recommend it to others.
